  • my 924 would have nailed the lot of them

  • @christosswc you are not the only one too want all three of this cars

  • 928 haves 2 times the engine of the 944

    but its really thirsty :P

  • Am I the only one to desire all three of them?

  • Take them to the track and that 911 will have more problems in the turns with that rear-engine RWD setup compared to the 928/944's with their better setup of front-engine RWD, but it would obviously have an advanage in a drag like this with the weight on the rear wheels and weighing less than the 928/951. The 951 always had problem with turbo lag, and has an obvious disadvantage to the 928's 8 cylinder. Not to mention we don't know the drivers' skill levels and if any mods are on the cars.

  • 944 TURBO!

  • Ok something was seriously up with that 944T up to and including the driver.. That is an old 911 so it should have easily been able to pass it.

  • @hothatchpa

Are you serious? that is the 964 911 from 1992...satandard 911 not s or turbo did 0-100 km/h in 5,2 sec the fastest 944 ever made was the 944T S and could only manage 5.5 sec NO WAY that 944 could beat the 911.

  • 928 GTS ftw

  • i like everything about the 944 except working on the miserable beast!

  • I enjoy working on them.

  • you're a sadist!

  • Haha. I was able to swap transaxles in my old 1985.5 944 NA in 3 hours. I did my clutch in my 1987 944 Turbo in 7 hours. I really enjoy it. :)

  • they arnt that bad to work on. the spark plugs are a bitch on the s version though

  • 944 Turbo is my favorite porsche of ALL TIME. I love 928s too!!

  • Drivers also make the difference. plus there is no way to tell if they are all bone stock

  • 928 is the best over all porsche, has room to put stuff, can be modified to kill most anything and a look that will catch peoples attention anywhere. i have owned many porsches and my all time favorite is the 928

  • that's a good choice, my favorite is the 944.

  • yeah i also like the 928s but i own a 944 and ill be damned if i ever sell this car...have to pry it from my cold dead fingers.....but seriously my grandfather had a 928 and that thing could fly

  • I didnt say i hated 944 :: ) hehe, love them all : ) heck my battery charger says porsche on it and i love it hehe : ) Happy Porschin....

  • @TheRockinCactus. they are sick as fuck, but if you need to replace a gear box you're pretty much screwed. lol. but they are extremely beautiful. but i'd still take a 944. just my opinion

  • @TheRockinCactus My only real gripe with the 928 is the headlights. Not a fan of the whole bug-eyed look. Granted, the 944 S2's (the earlier 944's had that ugly front fascia)/951's suffered from the same problem, but only when you turned the headlights on. Other than those times, they were tucked away and the car looked better.

  • @XxTabasc0xX I hear you... they do make a kit to get the 928 with the strosek headlights... that should be good for you.... : )

  • i cant believe that, it was a porsche 964 carrera 4 from 1989, and it lost to a 1991 s4 gtm :o although the carrera 4, was intended for all terrain, put a carrera 2 and try that race again, it would be neck and neck between the s4 gt and the 964 c2. great race and brilliant cars from the best car manufactuor in the world!!!

  • 1st was the 928GT, 2nd 911 and 3rd was the 944.... I am actually looking to get a 928 and I think this just won it for me

  • 928 Gt was off the line the quickest
