Chris, I worked with Kip in the early 1970's selling ads in minority newspapers. (Westworld time frame) I've been at his home several times on Woodman Ave in Sherman Oaks, we traded antiques, shared friends and such over the years. I have some cassette recordings of Kip ad-libbing on the phone with voices of both he and the contact he was talking too. This is hysterically funny stuff, unrehearsed, off the top of his head. I had the tapes cleaned and transferred to CD.
My love and deepest condolences to Chris, Felicite and the rest of the family. Saying Kip will be missed is a terrible understatement. He was one of the kindest and funniest men I have ever known. Kip held a very special place in my dad's heart; he loved him very much. Heck, anyone who was fortunate to know him loved him. Farewell, dear cousin.
I was going to email you and ask you for a copy of this :O) Now here it is 4 whenever we want to watch it again - thank you ! Like I already told you - BEAUTIFUL WONDERFUL JOB !! Nik and I will carry Kippy with us always . Never was a man more proud of his son ... His light shines on in you ! X O X
Very well done, Chris. There were a lot of things I didn't even know he'd been in. He worked with a lot of fantastic people over the years. He had a great life. Glad I got to meet him.
Oh my goodness, this video made me cry and laugh at the same time. Rest in peace Kip, and I wish you the best Chris. Your father left you with his talent and healing ability to make people happy. I only wish that you yourself can experience the joy you and your father have given to others throughout the years.
As hard as this was to create Mr. Kattan. Jerze truly found this to be well done. I believe your Father in a really good place among the heaven. Never lose your faith Sir & pass on to anyone willing to listen & learn. What this fine Kip King has taught you during his awesome time here on earth.
One of the great character actors who always put a smile on your face! Great tribute!
