  • That is one Beautiful USP

  • Proffesionals don't train till they get it wrong, they train till they can't get it wrong

  • @Pointburn I think what they're trying to say is that professionals continue to train until they are no longer physically capable of, or up to the task. In other words...they train until they get it wrong.

Not a very intuitive motto, to be sure.

  • Magpul-Apple for guns

  • Good stuff in this

  • That was awesome! But, the rain made it even more awesome!

  • looks like billy mays

  • @AgentHydra About as hopped-up as Billy Mays as well.

  • Can some one please get rid of travis haley... ask for his sniper school certificate... OH WAIT HE DOSE NOT HAVE ONE BECAUSE HE IS A FRAUD!!!

  • @MrRickyrecon What's that got do with this Handgun DVD. Sniping and Dynamic Weapons Manipulation are two very different types of training. I trust his judgment and every explanation of why he chooses the techniques that he does. Are you not very fond of him because of his time over at Blackwater?

  • @IMFDB so you know about his blackwater incidents too? There is that plus a whole gambit of other things... to include but not limited to, fraud, theft of serialized government gear and other things. How can you trust someone who makes up their background? Let me know how that works out for you. He is the type that would shoot you in the back, both literally and figuratively.

  • The cover of the DVD: PRICELESS!!!

  • Not gonna lie that looks fun.

  • Chris Costa>Chuck Norris

  • @hamart2383 CHUCK TESTA! lmao

  • My first ever firearm was a 1993 produced M1911 .45. I have never wanted anything else.

  • I see the M&P. That pistol is epicly better than ANY Glock..

  • Art of the dynamic ego.

  • Art of the dynamic toaster.

  • Chris Costa is such a twat

  • GAY!

  • @oddmojo you are

  • @InfidelOpsSniper Really? that's the best you can come up with? You fail at life and are now fired from the interwebs. Please turn in your computer and yourself for immediate destruction and castration. I'll let you pick who gets which, and have a nice day.

  • Comment removed

  • @oddmojo Not bad, your a good shit talker on the internet, your mom must be real proud.

  • @InfidelOpsSniper Yes she is, she tells me every day. As impressive as that was, it pales in comparison to what I'm capable of in real life.

  • @oddmojo interesting, coming from someone who post something like "gay" you probably have majestic super powers and the ability to walk up walls.

  • @InfidelOpsSniper Well I wouldn't call them majestic, but they are pretty cool. No walking up though, just the ability to know bullshit when I see it. Which is what this video is, a big ol' steaming pile of bull poopie! BTW I'm 83.6% sure those dudes are butt pirates, so my previous statement stands.

  • @oddmojo Oh ok because most of the people who post "gay" have no friends and sit on the computer all day, we should both inform law enforcement and the military (unconventional) and (conventional) forces that what they have been using to train is a bunch of BS and the other 1,658 people who like this video.

  • @InfidelOpsSniper Finally someone else sees it too.Although I wouldn't go so far as alerting anyone, most aren't smart enough to see it. As for the military forces, those are usually individuals not units that go out for this crap. Chairborne usually. None of my buddies ever went out and paid for training when they were going to get paid to go train. The 1658 people who liked this video are probably just retard kids that like it because it looks like their video games.

  • @oddmojo hoo fucking rah this is what im fucking talking about! kids these days say they wanna go into the military because it looks like there fucking games and they wanna kill people it pisses me the fuck off. PUSSIFICATION OF AMERICA!

  • @oddmojo Exactly its not you, its everyone else.

  • @oddmojo I'd say whether this is legitimate training or not, a person (say in the case of a home invasion) is going to need some form of training. Getting used to recoil, reloading, movement and accuracy would be crucial in any scenario involving a firearm; this training could'nt be anything but beneficial. At least as far as becoming familiar with your weapon ya know?

  • @planeteclipse7 Of course, there's no such thing as bad training. You're always going to learn either what to do, or what not to do. In my opinion, you're going to see a lot of what not to do with these guys, unless you wanna look good dying. The thing is that the a less experienced shooter isn't going to be able to wade through all the cool guy crap they want to teach you. Just because someone is willing to teach you something, doesn't mean it's worth learning.

  • @oddmojo i bet you get all the girls dont you

  • @TheJaaysog Yeah, what can I say, bitches love me.

  • fail

  • this video is without a doubt the best training video on the market, and shows even better in depth techniques than military basic combat training. only problem is it doesnt exactly show where to position the gun when sprinting or chasing a suspect with your gun drawn. im glad haley taught that in his adaptive handgun video.

  • I just watched the whole thing and the part near the end of the trailer where Travis and Chris are just walking with concealed carry and then begin dropping rounds is not in the video in its entirety. It's kind of like little bits here and there. I kind of wanted to another version of the "Live fire" drill that was featured in the Dynamic Carbine DVD. All around great DVD and would highly recommend it!

  • i'm waiting for the art of the dynamic spork :D

  • LOL, everyone except the women are going to have neck/back problems later in life.

  • @thibspiano Why for learning in for a couple of seconds? :L

  • @thibspiano or should I say leaning

  • these guys could make a 2 hour video of how to brush your teeth, and the way they do it, everyone else is wrong lol

  • I have no desire or need to be in a 'shoot state of mind' every waking hour, which is pretty much what this kind of shooting requires. If you don't practice these shooting techniques on a regular basis, then its pointless to even start. Im sure this video appeals to alot of people. Thank Hollywood for that.

  • @SilverMoonAir You don't have do these on a daily basis. You could even practice some drills without live ammunition, it's all about how motivated you are to do it. Some of these people have the mindset and completely understand that you can't screw up in a worst case scenario gun fight. That gives them all the motivation in the world to practice the essential parts of these techniques until your subconscious mind takes over and holding a gun is like consistently gripping a pencil.

  • another tacticool stupid and irreal crap where the only practical objective is to still your money :)

  • @Username7260 to still your money?

  • @TheJaaysog i meant steal :P

  • @Username7260 no its a good thing cuz alot of ppl in the us couldn't shoot a gun without help and if you know how then dont fucking buy it

  • @Username7260 You obviously don't have the slightest clue of what your body does under stress and how to incorporate techniques in shooting that will work with that stress!

  • All of their videos are not worth it....needlessly way too long. All ALL of their videos can fit in just one DVD

  • Its not an H&K they are using. They are Smith and Wesson M&P's. I know I own two of them.

  • @Maraud3r43 Plus I saw some 9mms in there.

  • Is thera any posibility to order the DVD set in Germany?

  • how do these .45's have like no recoil when they shoot them. I mean i shot a 1911 and a sig 226 chanbered in .40 and it had more recoil than the 1911. but these other guns in these videos have like no recoil. how?

  • @Maraud3r43 Because .45's tend to be a heavier weapon system, more weight less recoil. My H&K USP .45 has very little recoil, compared to my S&W M&P .40..

  • @xXCocytusXx I see makes sense. The p226 was lighter than the 1911. In the end i like the 1911 better because it was very solid, the p226 felt weird in my hand

  • @Maraud3r43 If you shoot your weapon enough, you learn to control the recoil better. There's a lot of things that go into it but one major thing is learning how to control the weapons recoil.

  • @Maraud3r43 It has nothing to do with caliber. If you lean your torso and shoulders forward like these guys it will mitigate that recoil like your a concrete wall. Muscles do not control your guns recoil, the weight of your body against it does.

  • girl at 1:06 marry me :)

  • @joshmanagosta12

1st move out of nazi land aka ca

  • that shit is BA

  • "let's talk about lasers real quick" .. FUCK YES LET'S TALK ABOUT LASERS!!! buying this DVD set now, there's so much valuable information from so many angles to be gleaned, good work creating a comprehensible, sensible, applicable system of understanding the fine art of operating a handgun, cheers gentlemen

  • im 14 and live in cali. my dad is trying to get me onto competitve shooting and so far we found some places but i wana do (when im olde of course) somthing like that. can just anyone take thos classes?or do you have to be in the military or police? same goes for the rifle ones.

  • @joshmanagosta12 Im 14 too and i have been doing target shooting for about 5 years now. About a year ago i started compeating at national levels, only with pistol though. i cant shoot for shit with a rifle lol. and i think the magpul classes are quite expensive to attend :/

  • @TheMunch97 go to frontsight courses they arnt as much and it still gives you great training

  • I saw a guy who wore a Springfield shirt and clearly had an open holster printed on his right side. I wanted to yell "he's got a gun!"

  • Thanks for the comments guys, it makes sense now :)

  • Why when they're shooting on the move do they bring the gun back into their chest (compressed)? Is that so they don't accidentally fire off a shot at an incorrect target? I realise this is probably basic handgun tactics, but I'm only getting into shooting now. Anybody with some insight?

  • @mat888888 its like a neutral point, dont shoot at what u dont intend to kill type a thinking i would say.

  • @mat888888 It is because when you see a threat it is easier and more accurate to extend your arms towards him than to move your extended arms to the side and get a shot.

  • @mat888888 In an urban environment, it keeps your gun from getting grabbed. Additionally, it's faster to get into action than holding the handgun at high or low ready and overshooting on presentation.

  • These instructors are some Bad mofos. Looks like a really cool deal.

  • magpul dynamics art of dynamic driving?????? thumbs up if u wana c it!!!1

  • I got to give you guys credit. 21 years in Law Enforcement, 14 of those on SWAT. Just started training civilians in my side business. I refer my students to your videos and use your philosophy in my training. People don't get it!!! Arguing tactics is for wannabe's..you guys teach fighting...period. I've trained with the IDF, the SAS and US Special Operations...all are badasses and all use different "tactics"...one thing we all do is play to win...well done gentlemen.

  • @teemleeder Agreed.

  • "Amateurs train until they get it right, professionals train until they get it wrong."

    Wisely said.

  • This may be a stupid question what kind/brand/type of holster did Chris Costa used in the video?

  • @artoflife101 Raven Concealment Systems

  • It's a shame that the only legal handguns here are black powder revolvers.

  • I can't watch this trailer without getting a six foot stiffie

  • i have a coupon from SKDTac for 30% off Magpul's Art of the Dynamic Handgun DVD set. I already have the DVD's and do not need this coupon. Shame for it to go to waste. Expires 11/07/11. first come, first serve.

  • @peterm3964 As opposed to UK, Russia and, Canada. They are all worse or about the same as America. Canadian police are now just like American police and UK police protect criminals rights over victims. America is still the free-est place to live other than Switzerland. Also in Switzerland you can keep the gold your stole from the Jews during WW2. How is America still KKK when a black man was elected to be the most powerful man on earth? What other western nation has elected a black man?

  • @pwalsh20 You never been to the UK. Their police does not protect criminals and I have seen it first hand.

  • @peterm3964 It is!.....you have NO clue!

  • @JohnCG27 Police state

  • @peterm3964 Like i said...you have "NO" clue......Police state?....lol...

  • @peterm3964 dude america is soooo cruel, even these message will be intercepted by the EPA (who controls speech) and you are so lucky that you are not as deluded as we are!

  • presss 7 to run your gun

  • Police aren't the first line of defense, the armed citizen is.

  • @devastateurface you're damn right, sir.

  • What gun is that costa has at :27

  • @bossdawg165 Smith and Wesson M&P 9 with a threaded barrel. Holds 17+1. damn good gun

  • @JuErLe359 I can attest to that. I have the exact same set up Costa has (TB and Surefire light) It's my go-to gun.

  • Hey that was Virginia beach pd in the beginning.

  • Err, that line in there should be.. "Amatuers practice til they get it right, pros practice til they can't get it wrong."

  • @gaurdian22 "Train and Practice?" I don't get it, the quote is more memorable if you use the word "train," they are training for worst case scenario. Why you want to change it?

  • @gaurdian22 actually you're wrong. The quote in the dvd is saying pros always push themselves out of their comfort zone trying to reach new levels, even to the point of failure. Basically, if you always remain in your comfort zone you will never improve. Don't be afraid to keep challanging yourself. Carrying a gun is a serious business.

  • those look like virginia police cars...you guys training at blackwater? yup, those are va beach cops alright.

  • blu ray??

  • @uncopino go to magpul.com and they sell a blu-ray version. its worth it i bought one

  • Comment removed

  • maybe if crims didn't have guns in the first place they wouldnt have to shoot everyone. Also i think chris costa should personally sign receivers for a limited addition AR

  • @TheJaaysog That's the problems with criminals. Real AKs go for roughly 300 Euro on the Amsterdam black market (depending on the model of course.) The yakuza in Japan has used AKs in turf wars as well. No law can prevent that.

  • @Edohiguma THANK YOU!!!! Politicians and lawmakers need a history lesson, if it wasn't for prohibition you never would have heard of Al Capone and if you try and ban weapons your just gonna create a more modern gangster era. Laws only keep honest people honest and turn some regular citizens into criminals. Gang bangers dope dealers, all of the scum of the earth don't care what capital hill says they can't have. Your just going to make better victims not prevent worse crime.

  • Apparently this video is only like $40 which is nuts considering that not only is it good info and insruction but it actually looks good. Even some of the vids by respected pros look like they were taped in 1987 on a big old camcorder. These videos have style, like they were directed by the freakin Cohen brothers. Id b willing to trust these guys because theyre real operators and they brought these skill into battle and came back.

  • does anyone know what the cost of this video series is? It looks really good, I'd like to buy it.

  • These guys talk too fast.

  • "all the lives are depending on you"

me: me? oh everyones screwed ._.

  • Thank you very much

  • could somebody tell me what costa's using for the majority of this video, i think it's a H&K but please don't criticize me for being wrong.

  • @willthrill94 He's using a Smith and Wesson M&P series.

  • No he means professional keep pushing themselves harder and harder until they fail at something, then figure out why they failed and fix the issue.

  • @AngeredKabar he meant to say they practice until they cant get it wrong

  • @br4383 Wrong. You might be able to put ten rounds in the center of a target, but what about while you're moving? They're pushing you past your limits so that you're more prepared for such a situation. As you keep pushing yourself, you'll get better and better until you master shooting on the move, in awkward positions, behind cover, etc.

  • what I'd give to be in one of these classes !!!!

  • @sopmod4xsame here dude lol

  • @myz159 The class looks extreamly interesting with all the tactics and tips

  • "This finger" "Right here". It's called the index finger.

  • How do you get into one of these classes?

  • @tumortim666

The waiting list is years long and I think it goes into the thousands of dollars...so....

  • great video series!

  • Tactical beard.

  • @buzman1985 tactical beard in coyote brown

  • @macoff12GT is forest camo not availiable?

  • @macoff12GT LOL

  • I feel like I just watched an action movie. A good one!

  • @robwtsn106 its not a comp hes running a m&p9 spec ops it comes with a threaded barrel and trigger work.

  • Comment removed

  • What kind of holster is Travis using in this video?

  • @jdapostolik01 If I remember correctly they are both using raven holsters. The hard plastic ones.

  • Tons of debate, but has anyone actually bought and used the DVDs?

  • @205DPD I got a set for Father Day. I train regularly and carry concealed. I've taken several formal pistol courses and I learned new stuff in the first DVD. So far I like it. Some different ways of doing things that look like they might be better.

  • @205DPD I purchased this one and the carbine1 as well. Pistol dvd is absolutely an excellent buy, I haven't practiced with my ar enough to judge the carbine video. I have been shooting for several years and pumped 8k rounds through my kimber last year- So I kind of assumed I had it all down, I learned tons from this video and it definitely helped me perform better. I recommend this video without a doubt.

  • 27 damn hippies....

  • 1:13

  • Good . .

  • @0:28 you can see it's an M&P the ambi thumb safety's location is the give away.

  • What was with the legs on the other side of the car on that intro?

  • What kind of helmets are those at 1:01 and where can I get one?

  • @mobius1aic join the military, lol jk

  • @mobius1aic Sentry ACH, I think.

  • @guardianation to bad he won't win the nomination, let alone the election.

  • @guardianation ron paul sounds like a cool dude. I'm sad though because he probably won't win :(

  • Ah ok. Thanks man!

  • ok two things:

1.whats the Holster type that was brown in the beginning and

    2. THAT AD WAS FREAKING EPIC!!!!! LIKE A MOVIE TRAILER DAMN GOOD JOB ON THAT EDITING!!!!

  • @Trinitus231 Pretty sure they said it was a raven holster.

  • You guys sure it being an M&P? I think it's an H&K USP Tactical or Compact with threaded barrel. Looks more like it.

  • @attyjuan 100% positive it was an M&P9 with a threaded barrel and Raven Concealment holster.

  • Isn't that an H&K USP Tactical on Chris Costa? Sure t'was an M&P?

  • Comment removed

  • Damn I want this DVD set!

  • THE SURRENDER SHOT??? what a joke. if you are surrendering to someone with a gun trained on you and you move to your side they will shoot you even if you draw as fast as chris costa. i wouldnt take his hostage negotiation advice

  • @maxcady5 What happens when that someone has to keep track of multiple hostages?

  • @NXPenguinFlutist Exactly That is why you should have a lot of (untrained and if possible dumb) friends and always stay with them! As they say: it gives the enemy more people to shoot at! Thus increasing YOUR survival probability! (I'm a bastard I know)

  • @maxcady5 I assume that you'd be watching the bad guy and once he turns his eye off you or gets distracted for even a few seconds, that's when you'd draw.

  • Whew,

Those M&P's they're shooting are extremely nice. Thumb safety, threaded barrel, reverseable controls, and .45 ACP.

    I.Want.One.

  • @trojanmike2008 pretty sure they're 9mm

  • Costa Deer ridge has your name on it!
