The reason that no one ever gets to see the rebuilt F40PH-2CAT's (which is what they are listed as in the official paperwork, not F40PH-3C's, BTW) is because they crap out on almost every assignment...
@ns3010 That sucks, especially since I think they look pretty cool. The paperwork might classify them as such, but the engines themselves as well as every railroad-related website I've been on refers to them as F40PH-3Cs. Although, that classification is a bit odd considering the existance of the MPI-rebuilt F40s that are also classified as F40PH-3Cs.
@GenesisSanctuary Yeah, no one is really sure of their true designation because the locomotives themselves say -3C, but they are listed as -2CAT's in the timetable. The sources that said that I found out about the timetable from are very reliable.
