I'm spending this year's holidays in Hungary, outside there's about 10 inches of snow and -15 degrees C. I was sitting in all day, blowing my nose and drinking hot tea, but next year I'll definitely visit Canada, just to double this year's fun.

I've been to Canada twice. Once to Toronto (in the summer though), and the other to Quebec (in the winter this time!). I have to agree, it's blisteringly cold up there. Nice, but very, very...very cold.

When we got married (in T.O 1998) we had no clue about immigration to the US. She was stranded in your humble country until May the next year (fortunately her parents took pity and let her have her old room for a spell). Anyway... I visited her at Christmas and again in February.

Now I understand the meaning of cold - you really can't even walk up to the corner store without risk of paralysis.

It was great just being indoors though... plenty of things to do inside. Know what I mean?
