  • @Ghei0shu0en its the fact you can get withdrawal symptoms from going without sugar (as in cold turkey). You may not have the same reactions if you went without other foods. But the word addiction conjurs up certain images. I mean there arent any sugar addicts hitting up in the street and giving out $5 blowjobs for a snickers.

  • If it were only that simple. Simply saying no without having a new habit is just buying time until the next craving, crash, or binge. The body has its needs and willpower - or won't power for some - can only go so far. Metabolic typing and eating well for your type (i.e. genetic ancestry respective) is one of the many pathways to restore a better biochemical terrain.
