Are south indians starved of singers. Why should Shreya Goshal struggle to sing a south indian song. It is painful to listen to Udit Narayan sing a tamil song. Why? Do you see South singers flooding Mumbai. Wake up guys give chance to local talent. Don't you remember the talented singer from AP who was chucked out in the finals of idols purely because he was from south.
We shud stop thinking South India and North India. In the age of globilazation, whole world is village. Aussie players are earning more money thru IPL compared to their home land. Can we stop Aussies to stop playing in IPL ? Its not like India is not having talent. Game will be more popular and our local players will get some exposure.
And it is the same way that some mumbai based singers are very famous in south India. If they sing, music business obviously do well because of their popularity.
Shreya ghoshal sings in so many languages. Its very difficult to remember the lyrics of each and every song. And definetly she is not struggling to sing that lovely kannada song. Otherwise she wud not have got that award inspite of Chitra in the nominations for that category.

Plus I think actresses who do not dub in their own voice should not be honoured with an award. I salute the Kerala State Government for not giving Priyamani the best actress award because she did not dub in her own voice. Unfortunately Filmfare is not so discerning!
This news channel can't even get the facts right. The filmfare award was not to honour Tollywood only but other Southern films as well. The way the news clip is set one who does not know the facts would think that only Surya and Priyamani were winners. Such is the sad state of Southern films that are completely ignored in the North. What an insult to the South film industry!
