Yeah, on a 2nd watch it's pretty clear that she wasn't very cooperative with her movements on the first run. There's about 12-13 seconds where you're probably not hitting her. The 2nd run I didn't bother to count the seconds you weren't hitting her, but it's pretty clear that's the reason.
Looks to me like you followed her a lot better in the 2nd run. Her movements are random and you just happened to follow her better that time. It's the only explanation I can think of.

First run: She was out of the range of most of your shots. So, she took less damage per second
Second run: She was in the range of most of your shots. So, she took more damage per second

Sugoi movements out there, I'm pretty happy that I can finally capture that spell on Hard. Still can't capture Utsuho's first spellcard though :P
