I started watching this thinking this guy looks intelligent, sounds intelligent, now when is he going to tell me about his double phd's, doctorates etc....no...it turned into pub philosophy. I want hard facts, science. There isnt even any theory, just thoughts.
There are not and never have been sources of such knowledge in mainstream education, so doctorates etc are only guides that people have been learning other things. I recently saw a video that told the big thing about 2012 is that year is when the earth will rotate over the equator, and when it does, there will be a BIG JOLT or something, that the whole world will feel and it will cause tidal waves & earthquakes, etc all over the world. At that time, those at the south of the equator will be north of it and those north of it will be south of it. I want to find that video again. But I thought I would tell you so you can search and see what you think on this.
There have been no mistakes in our evolution. Physics has never noted a particle , electron, proton, quark, lepton etc making a mistake. Yes we have had very painful moments both individually and globally. But this so called errors are evolutionary steps (perfect - imperfection). In order to have an identity of love you had to taste hate in may forms and shapes, in order to define beauty one had to taste ugliness and so on. Eventually this is all about God's mind evolving towards Love.
If a person commenting on this issue does not understand that an electron could be everywhere at once until it is observed by the human eye or what are the implications of entanglement then they need to catch up with this information. Exposure to information in Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, Sufism, I-ching, Kabbalah and many others is also helpful.
I think the universe (consiousness) is evolving fast and exponentially, and the universe as we know it is about to disappear to be replaced with a new paradigm that we are living inside the mind of an evolving God, without religious dogmatism or scientific dogmatism.

i have been doing a lot of thinking about exponential population growth, peak oil, money, society, and my generation that is going to college this fall.
the other night when i was under the influence of lsd i manefested that something big, really big is about to happen. i can felt that homosapiens are going to be confronted with the true meaning of unsustainability. there will be a series of economic crashes in the next couple of years with one this fall. the price of oil is controls everyth

Evolution as you may know is a slow and gradual process as it applies to life on earth. In my opinion, it does not make much sense to apply it to an abrupt "shift in global consciousness" as you seem to allude to. I don't believe that any human knows enough about consciousness to predict its evolution, much less understand its origins in human biology. On change- you need to be more specific, because anyone can say "your life will change / the world will change" and be correct.
Certainly, the predicted changes around and about 2012 cannot be in any sense proven scientifically. It all depends on "psychically" or "spiritually" received information. One major point: If you believe that consciousness originates in biology, none of this will make any sense to you. As more physicists and biologists are beginning to recognize, consciousness precedes matter/energy.
