please have a look at STEAM DISK TURBINE - TESLA TURBINE and see if you could combine it with the solar trough and filtration unit. Also if you had a heat exchanger between trough and filter you could heat some of your CLEAN water for washing or cooking. Very nice work x.x.x
why is there a filter after distillation if your trying to make it cheap and simple? you would filter drinking ethanol yes to remove oils with similar boiling temp to the ethanol but water will be fine without the final filtration thus adding simplicity and cutting cost?
