Couple things. Firstly, you need to understand the difference between hitting the right notes and playing something remotely well. The two are completely different things. Listen to different recordings of this piece and try to understand the musical aspect of this piece. Then start practicing technique and phrasing and you should be set.
LOL midi. I like man. I play violin, would never be able to do this with a midi. I broaden things out way to much. i hate the metronome, i only use it if i cant play the part. like the stupid paganini caprice no 5.
Aw come on it's not that bad... Theres better and there worse, but I don't think this one too bad. It looks like hes perfectly technically capable of playing this song, but just needs to practice for precision, pitch, and tonality.

Well, if you guys really think this is bad. Then please post something you played.
For some who say it is passionless, how can you tell it is passionless? some people don't make weird face and body movement while playing.
Technique does limit passion can be expressed but I think this guy is full of passion otherwise he wouldn't play violin nor post it here.

Yes, you can either plug in its headphone jack a headphone, or plug it into an amplifier.
