His style of playing tennis reminds me on Federer. I hope he can enter top20 or top 10 this year. Bulgaria can be proud of him!!! Best wishes from Germany
@craack100 No dude, that's very far from the truth. Dimitrov has an unusual style and is good on hard and grass. Marat Safin has textbook strokes, textbook equipment, textbook everything but he's good on hard and clay.
@Najo161 I say ryan harrison and yuki bhambri is as good if not better than some of these names, but otherwise i agree with the list. they should be fun to watch when they mature as players.
@Najo161 bernard tomic is good but he is kind of like murray - no real weaknesses and no real weapons. Filip Krajinovic - same case, the Bollettieri "lab rat" kind of guy. Dimitrov and Kontinen - completely different case. Classic technique, aggressive play and a certain kind of uniqueness
@DestroyerAlexandros what you mentioned is interesting point of view. But don't you think Harrison is apotential top 20 in the next 3 years? And what about the now 261 injured a lot Kontinen?Could he gain a great form and get into top 100?
Haha i agree, have you seen the video of him giving the umpire the middle finger??? hilarious.... but yea he definately has the potential to be world #1 in a few years.
I think Dimitrov has what it takes. Hopefully he has a good showing tomorrow against Nadal. I don't expect him to win, but I'm curious to see how his one handed backhand holds up against Nadal's heavily topspun forehand
good boy

Peter Lundgren said Dimitrov is a better player at the age of 18 than Federer was at the same age, if I'm not mistaken.
Harppuunamies 2 years ago 2
What does that say about his future and his carreer? Nothing.

Lundgren just's cut that Federer fired him.

One of these 3 guys is the next n.1 : Grygor Dimitrov, Filip Krajinovic or Bernard tomic

not Tomic

I would say someone in the top 10 at this moment.
SirVetje 2 years ago
@Najo161 add Yuki Bhambri to that list, already like 4 or 5 Futures titles, and he's a year younger than Dimitrov

Love Grigor - he has such a lot of talent, give him a few years and he will be at the top of the world rankings! :))

es un gran juagdor con mucho futuro ,,se ve el reves y saque parecidos pero no tiene la elegancia de ROGER ...

Dimitrov is immensely talented. I'm afraid he's a bit shaky when it comes to mentality, though.
