This is what makes a beautiful and true performance from an actress/actor: a crippling event in their own lives that drives them to open a dam of emotion that they may or may not have kept at bay. Once this emotion is channeled into said actress/actor performance it becomes a bittersweet portrayal of whatever character they may be playing. I believe that's what really makes a good performance. Sure you can years of acting training behind you, but emotional memory trumps all that.

I read somewhere that Angelina had an affair with one of her mother's boyfriends when her mother was going out with that person. Hope it wasn't true. But, Angelina doesn't appear to respect the concept of staying away from married men. She just doesn't give a rap. I don't trust this woman. It does take two to tango, but Jolie went straight in there. She knew what she wanted and she went for it in a film, knowing he was married, in front of his wife and millions of cinema-goers. I now think of him as weak and henpecked (she famously hits him and rips his clothes to shreds) and George Clooney has said he can never have their children in his home again as they are not at all disciplined. Pitt now looks completely worn out & a shadow of his former self.
