  • LOL @ "learned this solo in 30 minutes".....

  • whoa

  • Damn.... I need to learn how to sweep pick.

  • MAN!!! I WISH I COULD PLAY LIKE THAT!!! i mean I can't play very fast but I'm like above average... at least that's what my teacher says 0_0

  • SSSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

  • Sick!!!!

  • so the begining of the solo is speed picking with hammer ons and pull offs?

  • @Eman619 The actual beginning is suppose to be mostly hammer ons and pull offs, which you can see in my tabs. In this video here, I played it incorrectly and picked every note.

  • @CpxAzn I file doesn't wnat to unzip :( it says error

  • @Eman619 Sorry for late response, it seems like a lot of my files got corrupted for some reason, you can find the tabs at gametabs . net

  • WHAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT?????????

  • dudeee thats so legit.

  • i can do up to the sweeping, and the end part.

i should learn how to sweep

    great cover!

  • its easier to learn than you think, but it's incredibly hard to do it clean lol

  • õ//

  • that was awesome

  • HEY wheres the last part

  • There is one track that gets played during the episodes. Not the intro or the outro song. Its like 1min30secs(more or less) Just music, no vocals. I tried searching but I dont know the title. Do you know about that track. Theres a killer guitar solo, kinda metal type music piece. Its only a minute and half long.

If you know it then please let me know. Ok man, Rock on!

  • Is it battle ignition?

  • Thanks for replying.

I'll check that title right now.

  • Holy Cow!!!

Man, Thats the awesome track I've been searching for ages!!!

It felt so good to hear the whole track. The closest thing I found out was just the intro being repeated and repeated. No solos or anything, just the intro being continuosly repeated.

Anyway Thank You so much man, Man, u cant imagine how glad Im right now! Cheers!

  • Thanks for the tabs bro, I'm workin' on it, so hard xD I played for two years and I still suck, if you have time is it possible to do a little tutorial for finger positions ? Oo

  • Not too sure what you mean by finger positions, lol

  • lol =)

    I meant you know, x fret with x finger . . . just a "slow motionned" version =D

    Nass'

  • Well I'm sure the only finger positions that you need to know is for the sweep. I do pinky, pulloff onto index, middle, index. Then you go back up. I pretty much do this for all of the sweeps. I'm sure you can figure out the bigger sweeps because it's very similar.

  • wow :P nice cover man !!! You' re right you have left out a note or two at the beginning :P but it's pretty cool anyway :P!!! How much years you play guitar ??? Sorry for my English :)

  • When I recorded this song, I had played for 2 years.

  • you stupid azns and your guitar skills lol awesome job, i'm gonna have a go at this song soon.... wish me luck!

  • Haha, good luck dude.

  • Fuckin nailed that man.. awesome!

  • can u give me the tabs bro?

  • I showed where to get them in the video description.

  • :o *speechless*

  • what kind of distortion are you using?

  • I used the Line6 GuitarPort with the Chemical X amp.

  • how many bpm do you need to be at to at least to play this?

  • Well when I tabbed it, it was 100 BPM.

  • Im sorry, but what is BPM ? -,-' please dont call me an idiot

  • Beats per minute

  • oh yeah, which guitar is this? is it an ibanez? i want to buy a new guitar like this one with a whammy bar but i'm not sure which one i want to get, one thats great for tapping and stuff, thanks!

  • get a prestige ;) in RG series of course =P I've got a RG2550E, great guitar, or get a RG1570 and change pick-ups if needed bro

  • This is the Ibanez RGT42. Just about all of the Ibanez RGs are great. Try out the RG350, RG370, or RG5EX1 guitars if you want a guitar with a whammy. I've tried the RG350DX and it was extremely comfortable. Or if you're balling, get a RG prestige.

  • this guitar has a wammy obviously as well, do you recommend it along with the rg350/rg360/rg5ex1 guitars? max price im willing to pay is around $850 dollars, thanks a lot man you rock

  • by "this guitar" i mean rgt42, sorry bout that.

  • I would only recommend this guitar if you can get it for around the same price as those 3 other guitars. Main difference is that this RGT42 is neck thru meaning the neck and body are the same piece of wood. This means that the neck is not bolted on, it is one piece of wood so you cannot detach the neck.

Those 3 guitars I mentioned would be best bang for your buck. You could get the Ibanez MTM2, but I don't think it's worth $200-300 more for that small of an upgrade. Go to GC and try the guitars

  • Okay so the RGT42 is $831 (Canadian) so $767 dollars if you are American. The store also has a RG350 and a RG370DX both for $513 dollars ($473 U.S.) Before I go to the store I was wondering which one of those guitars you would rather purchase, because I do not want to tell my parents about the RG350 or the RG370 because they would just buy that because its cheaper. Also, I do not have easy access to this store so I can't go check them out yet, please reply, thanks a lot again.

  • Well the only difference I see is the neck thru on the RGT42. I wouldn't say it's worth $300 more. I would get the RG350DX / EX.

If you really want your parents to spend the extra money, you can get the RGT42, but you won't feel that much of a difference. Well I guess the necks would feel different because the RGT42 has a glossy finish. Try them both, without letting your parents know the price difference, lol.

  • hey wassup again, I bought the ibanez RGT42 and I have a problem... I didn't realize that guitars with whammys are impossible to tune into drop c or other low tunings. my friend says that he can tune his but its really hard for some reason, so that sucks cause I play songs with all kinds of different tunings and I can't switch tunings easily with this one at all, it only works in drop d and standard that i have tried. so i was wondering if you could recomend maybe an ibanez without a tremolo, ty

  • i probably will return this guitar next weekend, and i want to buy i different one, sorry i am a noob i didnt know anything about guitars with whammys. also if you could recommend some guitars from different companies without whammys or one of your other guitars, that would be amazing, it would save my a lot of time, YOUR A GUD DUDE

  • Wow you play drop C? I've never had to play in drop C.

Well if you want a guitar without the whammy, you can try the RG2EX1 or the RG3EXFM1. The RG2EX1 is cheaper and is pretty much the same thing as the RG3EXFM1 so I would get the RG2EX1

  • yeah also this guitar has floyd rose (spelling?) pickups and tremolo or something, i forget, but the maintenence is difficult so i figured i'd buy a simpler rg without that or a whammy. yeah i play drop C for bullet for my valentine and sum other metal bands, i constantly change the tuning of my guitar so a guitar without a tremolo would be a lot better for me I think, thanks again

  • also i like to play metal, modern rock, sum classic rock, j-metal, melodic metal, hard rock, stuff like that, you think it would be a better choice to get a guitar like the RG2EX1, its more versatile I assume?

  • Yeah, the RG2EX1 is good for the stuff that you play. It also has better pickups than those guitars with tremolos that I recommended you.

  • so whammy is bad?

im a noob 2 n got an non- whammy 1

  • Whammy is only bad if you constantly change your tuning of your guitar. Well if you want to make your life easier, just don't get a guitar with a whammy unless it's the ones that only allow you to dive bomb.

  • @CpxAzn hmh thanks 4 da tip

  • what tuning is this?

  • Standard tuning

  • Wooooooooooooooooojojojooooooooo!!!!

    Amazing!!! just Great ^^

  • OMG IT'S PERFECT!!!! O.O

  • O.O perfect!

  • doesn't look like youre really playing the guitar

  • You can totally tell towards the end of the song that I'm playing the guitar especially when I use the tremolo, and you can also hear my delay effect after I use it.

  • maybe its just the camera...

  • that iz awesome. gotta learn it

  • daaamn, learned in half an hour lol

  • !FUCKING AWSOM!

if you have made a tab of this solo can you pleas send it to me i realy want to learn this solo!

  • There's a link in the video description.

  • hmmm wasent thought it was actually so easy! no wonder...its mostly standar arpegio shapes.hell nice though

  • holy fuck on a stick dude u killed that fuckin solo.that was perfect.

  • Okay, figuring that out by ear in 30 minutes is really something. You must have been playing for a while I guess? From my point of view it's insane to get it that good after 30 minutes. It sounds almost exactly right. I'm not sure if there might be one or two notes out of place, but it's probably right. Very nice.

  • I've trained my ear so I'm pretty good at tabbing songs. I've tabbed many songs so I'm used to it. I've been playing for a little over 2 years.

As for playing this solo, the very beginning is the same as paul gilbert's exercise so that was pretty easy. The next was legato, which I have been practicing, but you can notice that it's not that clean. The next is the sweep, and those sweep patterns are pretty common so it wasn't too bad. Then come the slides, which was a lot easier than I expected.

  • Oh I see. I've not learned a lot of different techniques like sweeping and stuff yet. I guess it'd be more natural to someone with your kind of experience. Keep it up!

  • dude!!!!! you are just great dude!!! never i hve seen some one playing that solo so cool as you do!!!

    have a tab for it????

  • Nope, I figured it out by ear.

  • waw your very nice

  • damn. that was awesome!!!
