Dakota Fanning totally owned the "I can kick the shit out of a truck driver" look! Lol, she had the attitude perfectly, i can't think of anybody who could have done it better. I saw this movie last night and it was pretty good. There were things that it lacked but overall great preformances from all of the girls and Michael Shannon. Dakota showed us that she can be a badass Cherie Currie; Dakota was great. Kristen blew me away. I've always thought she was a fair actress but after this I like her acting a lot more. To everyone who thinks she's "dead" they need to see this film because she is very much alive.
Dakota can choose to wear lingerie anytime she wants to- whether it be for a movie or in real life. That's part of the role she had to portray in this movie- Cherie Currie refused to be tied down and did what she liked, so that's the role that Dakota had to play. Deal with it.

My son is the boy in clip 3:17, the small one. It was the most amazing experience in the world hanging out the whole day witht he cast and crew, including Joan and Cheri. Michael Shannon played with my son during break and tought him how to pplay pool. AMAZING!!!!!!

My son is the boy in clip 3:17, the small one. It was the most amazing experience in the world hanging out the whole day witht he cast and crew, including Joan and Cheri. Michael Shannon played with my son during break and tought him how to pplay pool. AMAZING!!!!!!

tweetysixteen - Cherie was the same age when she wore that outfit so I don't see anything wrong with it. She's a teenager, she has to grow up sometime! If the tabloids are going to be all over it, then screw them. They shouldn't get mad at Dakota, it was Cherie's outfit, her idea! I LOVE IT <3

It looks like they put some real effort in recreating the appearance of the era. Chucks, Dakota, if that's her singing, sounds as good as Cherie. Can't wait to see the film!
