yea, i did a vid of the whole thing and showed it was hooked in the shell and not in the mouth or anything. when i set the hook you can see and hear the line slide on the shell. it ran into my line that was next to my chum bag on the bottom.

first, there is no such thing as a starter kayak, they last a long time, so get one that will do and go where ever you want to go.

second, where are you fishing, rivers or open water?

for me, i consider the trident 13 the best all around fishing kayak.

My dad and i used to fish out of a 15 foot canoe, we sold it and bought 2 kayaks, first was the manta ray 12, then the manta ray 14 (loved the first one so much had to get another one in the 14!!) what do u think is the condition of the striper fishing at white stone bridge in the rapp?? Its Oct. 11 i havent made my way there yet but i was planning on going soon, I believe they are there... just not sure what to use... not gonna do eels, kinda was feeling the artificials

@theroperdude wilderness systems ripper it's a good stable boat and I can easily stand up in it and you can mount plenty of things im 13 and it's perfect for me but if your an adult it's no use to you unless you are really small. The kayak is 244cm long

@TheRoperdude dont start off with a bunch of stuff on your kayak, you dont need all of that junk just to get out and go fishing, learn what you need on you boat before you spend a bunch of money on stuff thats going to be in your way.

Please, may I suggest something? That music though I know you like it is extremely abrasive to others. I know it's your dvd and all but there is no way I could watch without putting those parts on mute and I want to hear the action and your reactions!

@meforgodforall im sorry your hateing the soundtrack, but some of the fights like the striper segment, the mics are frozen and it muffled the audio. others the wind is blowing in the mics. the tour dvds only has music at the intro and the ending credits. its much more calmer.

the KFCB dvd is full on hardcore kayak fishing porn. so far most are likeing the music. it goes with the fights, hard and heavy.

@meforgodforall thats cool, i think abrasive music fits the action of the fights. when a 10plus pound sheepshead is going nuts in your kayak next to your...... thats pretty abrasive.

its not a nice and easy fishing video. we tighten our drags and and fight em hard.

a japanese reviewer discribed the DVD as, "Shocking footage, overwhelming barrage!" i think thats the coolest review of a fishing video i have ever read. :)

Its all shot in the lower bay. Big reds on the eastern shore. Spades, sheep, triggers at the first island of the CBBT. Tog at the ships and island. And big stripers at the concrete ships. Weve got some cool footage, Im pretty stoked on it and will be out soon!
