@283inc He was running when he was shot so there's a good chance it could have fallen that far or maybe one of the first people there wanted everyone else to blame the police so they kicked it back or something. Either way, when they recovered it, it matched the shell casing that were found at the scene

You can clearly see the gun at 0:15 seconds whether its's the young mans gun or not, that's for the police to investigate. In 1:23 seconds it looks to be something else was picked up, like a cell phone, not a gun, and if you look carefully it was in another location than where the guns was at.

@MrBbuck05 Actually a cop CAN shoot a suspect in the back if the suspect is ARMED and poses a threat to the officer and others (1985 Supreme Court decision- Tennessee vs Garner) The cop is not going to risk injury or death to himself or to innocent bystanders by letting an ARMED fleeing suspect get away and pose an immediate threat to the public. It's totally legal and justified. But that also depends on each individual police department's deadly force policies & procedures in cases like this.

i have a hard time believing that was the gun on the ground not too far away from the police and they didn't see it there or go to get it. Another video shows it was a cell phone on the ground. Plus, seriously WTF is that person doing picking up a cell phone or even a GUN from a guy who just got shot and NOT showing it to the cops?
