I just ordered this blade. Question: what is the difference between the 0A blade and the 0A/FD blade? They both leave hair @ 3/64" so what's the difference between the two?
0A balde is a standard cutting blade... 0A F/D is a Filed Down (FD) balde... designed for off scalp freehand carving and shaping of textured hair, "crusing" an Afro style, top cutting a flar rop, polishing a top on a fead, etc. Not a on-the-scalp blade.
take the top screws out and loosen the ones holding the two blades togather but not 2 loose just so they let you move them with out moving themselves than pull the blade all the way out and push iit on a hard surface and they should cut sharp as fhk
hey cg...great vids...just wondering why wont andis make a t-outliner,t-edjer, and styliner with a rotary motor???? i wouldn't mind paying a little more for more power...ALL DAY!!
Hey ivan does this blade do the same functions as the "00000" blade... and can the "00000" blade do the outlining like the outliner blade. Thanks

Seeing as i can't get an outliner in the UK....
I can basically place one of these blades on my BGC2, and do everything an outliner would do?

Hi Ivan - is the ''shaver'' result with these blade (using it on a BGRC) the exactly same as the Andis Outliner? thx
ztyumes48 2 years ago
Yes. And like the T-Out you can zero gap the balde (bump it closer) if you want a closest cut.

Outliner is only sold in U.S.A. We sell other fine toothed trimmers over there. Come see me at Salon Internatiioal at ExCel in Oct.

what's the difference between the T-Outliner and the Outliner 2?
TheNewNikoSoprano 3 years ago
T Outliner has the T shaped blade with the extended corners. Outliner II has the traditional square blade.

so which would you say is better for beard trimmimg, shape ups/line ups?
TheNewNikoSoprano 3 years ago
Personal choice. I prefer the square blade... Andis sells T blades 6 to 1 over square...
Go figure.
