  • dude your car is overheating!

    is that because of muffler??

  • @arsalful The needle is in middle where it suppose to be but because of the camera recording angle it looks like the needle is toward red. I own 2001 325i. I get confused sometime lol

  • I love my 328i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $170 and add up to 9HP in the E46 323/325/328 and up to 13.9HP in the 330. That's about $17/per extra HP... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:

    E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

    E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

    E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

    E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

    Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

See my channel videos for action!

  • Howd you do that< please tell!

  • You totally made it sound like piece of crap.

  • Nice , sounds like a M3 e36

  • shiiiit...!!! i have to do that in my 325i e46 too....

  • 335i n54 motor rocks not this shit

  • your shifting sux!

  • your shifting sux!

  • i own a VW Golf and a BMW 325i witht sport package...Im so happy!

  • isnt revving at idle an oxymoron?

  • My Car! :D

  • Seems a bit slow to me, how come you didn't redline it with one smooth stab with the throttle ?

  • To the person below me : stop advertising on YouTube for your damn intake signature motor sucks ass get an injen intake or k&n, intakes don't even do much you want sound get a full exhaust set up, you will gain more power that way and at the same time reduce weight

  • hey what city in california do u live in cuz i saw u have the crevier bmw license frame on your car

  • sounds a bit like turbo when reving while you stand.

  • what kind of exhaust is that?

  • very nice sound

  • is this that park in Burbank next to the tennis courts?

  • What is that, the Spa Eau Rouge turn at 0:53? I wish I was there with my 325i. Pretty sweet.

  • hi, you have a powerful car. how do you swtich the clock to temperature in the dashboard. I have a 01 325i too, but i dont know how to change to the temperature or my car doesnt have it i really don know. need your help thanks.

  • its the button on the end of your turn signal arm. You will be able to switch the display to temperature, clock, average mpg, average speed, and miles until empty.

  • Hi, thanks for your hepl, But I already checked my car and did not see any botton at the end of the turn signal arm. I think that botton is on a new BMW, because I have a 01 325i

  • @ngocvg all E46 cars 2001 na dup have that its on the turn signal in the end of it it clicks in just look at it carefully

  • I really like the e46 325i. I have a gli 2.0turbo which is a little quicker. I still wanted to trade my gli and get the BMW just for a change, but I have negative equity. Nice car!

  • Very throaty!

  • I have such a noob question but why do people call BMW 325i is E46? please answer if you have more knowlegde than me. thank you.

  • Is the body model, 3 Series from 98/99 > 05/05 is E46. 91 > 98 3 Series is E36.

  • It does sound superb at high revs I agree but as the guy comments further down, you will lose too much back pressure and a noticable loss of performance so I wouldn't bother. Just buy an induction kit for a sportier sound.

  • Someone can explain me with a draw or something how to do this exhaust? I'm from brazil, and i dont know what is the resonator, muffler and cats.

    Tks

  • No need, I'll explain it to you. Exhaust system is just piping with 'boxes' placed inbetween. The boxes are called mufflers or silencers and work to reduce noise/sound and create back pressure.

The guy in the video took all these boxes out and put more piping there but left the cat on. The cat (catalitic converter) is the first box at the front of the exhaust system and this one changes harmful gasses into safer ones. The cat also acts as a silencer/muffler though so also reduces noise.

  • Californiaaaaaaaa, i want this car ^^

  • i had no idea other people were doing this with their e46's too.

  • i had my resonators tooken out i put on headers and elimanated my cats and a canister at the back, my 325i sounds like a race car now and i havent got pulled over yet, if your gonna start the exhaust you should finish it! sounds pretty good though!

  • Nice ;-)

  • did you loose some back pressure, or did it make it kinda gutless after the mod? idk about you but it did to mine

  • It made it kinda gutless due to the loss of back pressure. When I put the cans back on just recently I did notice a moderate power gain.

  • That sounds simply incredible. I mean unbelievebaly good. Sounds just like an M3 What do you mean you just took the mufflers off? which one?

  • Ok. This does NOT sound like an M3. No way in hell a 2.5 straight 6 sounds like an amazingly tuned 3.2L straight 6. You're tripping, it might sound similar, but doesn't sound JUST like an M3.

  • Trust me, at acceleration it sounds very very similar to an M3 indeed :)

  • it is not an m3 DER!!!! it is a 325i but i know what you mean

  • You're tripping. It does sound like an M3 in every way.

  • @v33nod3 jeez, if this car got any more gutless, you could run faster than it. well, at least the auto model. mines pathetically slow

  • very nice sound mate- ive also changed my muffler on my 2000 e46 its a bit louder tho. i will be posting video shortly.

  • Man these 325's sound so good! we have a 2001, probably gonna put some Eisenmann on it one day.

  • did you take off just the muffler or both the muffler and resonators

  • I took just the mufflers off. I had planned on removing the resonators as well but was afraid of getting into trouble with the law.

  • its calld str8 pipe after the resonators lol

  • Comment removed

  • @v33nod3 removing resonators isn't illegal only the cats are illegal, and you shouldn't be to close to the sound limit with just resonators and mufflers off

  • that sounds nice man

  • what kind of exhaust is that i have to know

  • pretty sure those are straits with just a cat converter

  • great now I have to do this.....thanks jackass lol

  • i knew that sounded familiar haha! i did the same thing man

  • Nice sound!!

    Check out mine custom exhaust

  • doesnt sound too bad its a little raspy when you rev but under full accel its sounds awesome!

  • Did you just use the stock muffler with increased piping diameter and deleted resonators? Or did you add a muffler also?

  • I cut the rear muffler out and put straight pipes coming out.

  • I didn't edit as well as I should have! I meant "Revving AND Idle" not "Revving AT Idle" Hehe.
