  • I'm so glad to see you playing this. I'm working on this song now, and I think it's the most challenging piece I've played to date. It's always helpful to hear you play the pieces through.

  • It's wonderful to hear from you. I am so pleased that my recording is helping you. I also found this piece to be a great challenge. It has been in my practice repertoire for more than a month and it will probably remain there for another two months. It is one of those classic accordion pieces that I will always want to be able to play for friends at any time. In addition, as we progress to more challenging pieces, our general skill level will increase and this one should become easier.

  • bravo pour les progrès et merci pour votre sourire qui nous rappelle à tous que la musique c'est avant tout du plaisir !

  • Merci. Souvent c'est difficile de sourire quand la musique est compliqué. J'essaierai de sourire même plus souvent.

  • Very enjoyable tune

    Good playing

    Bravo!

  • Thank you for your encouragement, and good luck with it yourself. Alternating basses is a major accomplishment for any beginner, and I am no exception. You will be proud of yourself when you finally accomplish this one.

  • Your left hand plays in a triangel. Great.

    Thanks for posting it.

  • Yes, that is the classic "Alternating Bass" triangle pattern. Good of you to notice. With my big hands and fat fingers, my hand must move sideways in order to accomplish it. People with smaller hands and slimmer fingers have an advantage because their fingers can go up and down while keeping the hand steady in position.
