  • Es lo que estuve buscando hace tiempo, muy buena

  • Diane is hot for sure but she never sang a note for the soundtrack. I love this movie. I had to get it on DVD twice because the first version wasn't in 5.1. I will get it again on blu-ray when it comes out. I hope Hollywood doesn't redo it.

    beautiful!!!

  • Great song from a great movie!

  • Last week I saw "Unfaithful", and well.. Diane Lane is still gorgeous, so I remembered how much I liked Streets of Fire and looked for this tune, and I've been listening to it over and over. I've been crying, with a nostalgic feeling that won't go. Ellen Aim is my goddess! I just hope the Glee creeps don't ruin this song.

  • ★★★★★★ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

  • I LOVED THIS SONG!!!

  • I remember the movie and I am sure it had better video and sound quality than this video clip. I wish Youtube would allow people to make high quality videos.

  • Diane Lane looks about as good as she has in this movie!~ and William daFoe gives me the creeps : )

  • when i was a kid i thought this was the greatest song and movie ever made.

  • same girl as rumble fish

  • talk about take you back, this played at my wedding, 33 years later still with him awesome song

  • This was one of those fun campy movies! One of my favorites from the 80's that's for sure! Awesome decade to grow up in!

  • I actually saw this in a theatre in the 80s

  • "There's nothing wrong with going nowhere, baby! But we should be going nowhere fast!" my favorite! :D

  • 1984,

My first date, cinema and this movie...

This song takes me all, always

  • you can bet 'bout it, joaomiguel1988! Such good days! I can remember 80's much more than 90's. No comparison!! And Diane Lane still rocks too! :-)

  • ADORRRRRROOOOOO!

  • early 80's was rock n roll

    latest 80's was disco

  • Actually this is 80s rock with a slight retro shift to it. The movie "Streets of Fire" was merely okay. However, the sound track was fooking kick ass!

  • 80's ROCK!

  • Took my girl friend to see this film, 26 years ago and it still feels like yesterday!

  • @KJS2604 Do you still see her?

  • streets or fire very very good... Nowhere fast beatiful songs...

  • streets of fire was the shit last rock and roll fable.

  • 80's Passionate!!!

+ the way she moves is captivating... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

  • totalno!

  • Mnogo dobra pesma:))))

  • do jaja je! : -D

  • This was written by Jim Steinman, who wrote a lot of Meat Loaf's songs. This song and the song "Tonight is What It Means to be Young" however, were written by Steinman and performed by Fire, Inc. for the movie "Streets of Fire". It was later covered by Meat Loaf.

  • @Sinewav was ganna say this SOUNDS like something Meatloaf would do

  • @prede89 was on his "Bad Attitude" album, same year as this film

  • @gypsyroadhog I see...thanks for the info :)

  • @gypsyroadhog micheal jackson sucks horse dick, he was the only thing wrong with the 80's. I bet you like Rick Astley too you fag!!!!!

  • @veggang Who mentioned Michael jackson ya prick. Jim steinman we're on about. Go and listen to the venga boys and come back when you know what you're talking about. smeg head

  • Was this originally a Meatloaf song?

    How about that.

I have not listened to this song since maybe 1985.

Thanks so much for the post.

  • Sounds like they combined 2 Jim Steinman songs for this version. I hear a bit of "The Storm" in there.

  • The good, the bad and the beautiful

Assume Song and Movie that this song opens up to

  • thank you!

  • ja imam kazetu doma :p

  • kakva muzika ..genijalno.:))

  • Hehehe...

  • OMG ELLEN AIM

  • Goddamn what a catchy song. That chorus is unreal.

  • Born in 85 and I grew up with this!!

Love the movie and the soundtrack totally rocks!!

  • me too !!

  • Totally agree, wish i was born in the 80's with that rock. man....

  • The singer also is Holy Sherwood?

  • the best ever!!!

  • now i have to watch the movie

  • they didnt get credit for what they did it was awesome ellen aim an alll

  • a very inspirational film

  • If you want to watch this soundtrack rent "Streets of Fire" on DVD .

  • my favorite music ever !!!

  • Where did music like this go?

  • I know what you mean, for some strange reason this just moves me, makes me want to move! I love this stuff. Some music is timeless.

  • Completely agreed with you two. On a side note, I believed it to be a pain and a bummer that Fire Inc. only released two songs... but then, if they did release more, maybe the legendary music provided by them would NOT be as epic as it is.

  • Its funny. I'm a child born in the 90's, i listen to current music like any metal head does and I completely agree with all your guys comments. Where in gods name did music like this go?

  • I don't actally remember this from the 80's only heard it recently. I can't understand how i never heard it before. I'm glad i've heard it now. Excellent.

  • Jim Steinman and Diane Lane...what more could you want in 1984?

  • I was born in 1984 and couldn't be more proud

  • great actors, great songs, too bad the movie did not go anywhere

  • 80,s where the best

  • I disagree with you. I remember this film was an absolute hit in cinemas of Yugoslavia during 1985 and 1986.

I was 10 years old at that time. I watched it twice in Belgrade and once in Dubrovnik. I do n't count how many times my friends and I saw it from VHS video tapes.

  • @Saint670 I must respectfully disagree--the 70s were the Golden Decade for pop music. :-)

  • @jamesjeffreypaul I could agree with that, if it weren't for Disco.

Yes, I know, New Wave was just re-packaged disco, blah, blah, blah....

But the 80's had better hair and hotter chicks. We'll just forget about all the "guy-liner"...

  • klasse film, klasse song, klasse sängerin

    daumen hoch

    rock on

  • GOD, 80's rocks!!! must have been beautyfull to live in this amazing years...

  • @joaomiguel1988 YES it was !

  • @joaomiguel1988 Indeed it was.

  • yeah right!!!! everything was cool back then.... today music sucks....

  • @joaomiguel1988 I was there it turned out to be the best years to be a teen loved every minute of it.

  • @joaomiguel1988 - I grew up in the 80's (my teen years) and I can tell you that they SUCKED. This movie and soundtrack rocked, but the 80's blew. Hard. It was all fake, shiny and plastic, and all about the label on your clothes. I envy my kids, who can watch this and enjoy it, then move on to a billion different other options, instead of having to turn on the radio and listen to Richard Marks, Wang Chung and on and on. *sigh*

  • reminds me of aerobics classes... the ultimate aerobics training song.

  • 4:25 she download the pomba-gira.

  • ahuahauahauhauahau! Que comentário retardado, ahauhauahauaua!

  • com certeza!!!

  • This is such a great rock song. When it came out, sometime in the 80's i think, I bought the record with the sound track and listened to this one song for days. Time after time. It was incredible. Mindblowing. Ecstatic. I think in the video they cut few lines from the song though.

    Thanks for posting this.

  • true

  • Does anyone else see the resemblance between a young Diane Lane and Mandy Moore in this video?

  • I do.havn't really thougth about it before, but now that you mention it.i see your point

  • Great song, I actually never have seen the clip from this music.

    Thanks.

  • i LOVE this movie!

  • If anyone likes this video. Try watching Bubblegum crisis 2032 Tinsel City. Or at least the first ten minutes. You will swear you are watching this. Yes it is anime, but who cares. (:~>?=

  • The Creators of the original Bubblegum Crisis have always given Streets of Fire a nod as being on of the films that inspired the original series along with Bladerunner and Robocop.

  • You must be a Bubblegum Crisis fan to notice. I am glad there are people out there who still watch it like me. Write me anytime. Thanks- labelashavoc (:~>?=

  • Count me as a BGC fan too ;)

  • Which is your Your favorite Knight Saber? Mine is Priss Asagiri 2032/33/34, Not 2040. Labelashovoc (:~>?=

  • oh priss rocks so much! i often do my best to resemble her sometimes :D

  • How long have you been a fan? I have been watching her since the very beginning. Konya Wa Hurricane is my favorite song of the series. What is yours? Labelashavoc (:~>?=

  • dunno the BGC from the 80'S was one of the first animes i have seen (in original language without localization) maybe i was 11 or 12 years old ^^ i liked priss so much with her attitude, i could identify easy with her...

my favorite songs from BGC are

    1st Konya wa Hurricane

2nd Akuma to Tenshi no KISU

    3rd Asue Touchdown

i hope i could answer your questions

  • BGC was my first anime also. You chose some great songs also. As you know Priss is my favorite too. I think that is why I like this movie so much. Konya Wa Hurricane is my first pick. I also like Victory and Mad Machine.

Which is your favorite episode? Mine is Tinsel city, Blow up, Double Vision. Labelashavoc (:~>?=

  • I think the first episode i watched was the first one(dont know its name anymore) where priss sings with her replicants konya wa hurricane and some little girl(which is a boomer) has control over a satellite based beam cannon, to that time it was broadcastet late night in german tv with some other animes... im not really prefer any episodes from BGC so im not sure about which one would be my favorite

  • Tinsel City is the episode your talking about. It was the best one of the series. There were suppose to be 13 episodes, but they stopped at 8. I would not bother watching BGC 2040. It is not that good. The Knight Sabers of 2040 don't really work as a team like 2032. And the music is not as good either. If you have any questions about 2032, Just ask to be on my friends list. I know almost all there is to know about 2032. Thanks labelashavoc (:~>?=

  • this song is more beautiful song FROM MY LIFE

  • I am 21 but I love this song!

  • im the same age and im the exact same lol!! but i love 80's music...especially the high energy ones like this

  • incredible song...what a geneous song!!

  • Damn, I am old...

  • aahhaa you're damn right!

  • Diane Lane was awesome in that movie.

  • true!!

  • demais

  • Jesica and Cody are going '' No Where Fast'' in Metro City.

  • who?

  • I was on the VIDEO store the other day, looking for some movie to rent, and I saw Streets of fire on the highly demanded movies... I tought it sounds familiar, and I remember I heard that the Final Fight series where based on this movie, I rented and I love it

  • Diane Lane is beautiful now as she was back then...I liked this movie when it first came out. Not only because it has E.G. Daily in it too. I'm 45 and I enjoy watching this movie now and then...what a great summer this was. thanks for posting.

  • Final Fight... cody, guy, haggar? they are streets of fire

  • people say there would be no final fight or streets of rage without Streets of Fire

  • Look at Tom Cody, is obvius they based Cody on him... A wonderfull movie...

  • wuuuoohhh

    ROCK ON !!!

    Love the song

    thx

  • could have gone with out the subtitles, but this song is so hardcore

  • For what it's worth, the Japanese subtitles lack all the nuance that make this song so rad. :/

  • I just saw this movie for the first time tonight in a very long time, many memories it brought, especially the music and Diane when she was very pretty, guess that's how I felt when I was younger when I saw her lol. For those that have comcast, it's on demand under free movies. Though I'm not sure how much if they play the same movies in different states.

  • I loved this movie and used to watch it on Beta (damn I'm old) but only recently got it on dvd and its every bit as awesome as I remember. Definitely and underrated movie, and absolutely one of the most underrated soundtracks of all time. The music ranks up there with Beverly Hills Cop, Dirty Dancing, and Top Gun, but most people don't even know it exists.

  • damn it...

    i wa born on 1991...

but i still remember this movie coz my dad loves it and me also...

been search this movie for long time ago but looks like it's hard to be found...

    damn

  • the last tym i saw this flick, it was 20 years ago( i think) i was in grade school that time and my older brother bought a cartridge of this movie's soundtrack..till now, hearing it again is like goin back through time...miss my younger years...

  • DOBRA PICKA

  • a sad ima oko 40 i nije baš toliko dobra :)

  • Freaking Unbelievable...this music is awsome... cause cause... it has tune, it has melody, and above all its not repetetive... with the same lines and all...and the most amazing this, is that this music is like an hit in the radio station of Portugal, everyone listens to it, likes it, and even with all the years that it has, it still ROCKS!!!

    Thanks for the video.

  • Essa música me faz lembrar uma epoca boa da minha vida.Saudades...

  • SONG!

    :D

  • Woa, an awesome piece of 80s rock! I just saw Streets of Fire this weekend on television and got caught by this powerful song immediatly. Catchy rock anthem at its best. :)

  • hahah I soo agree with ya.the song was the forst ting thath got me hooked too the first time i saw the movie

  • Fantastic music! I heard this on the 80s on the discos... Still makes me wanna jump like a crazy man!

  • Diane Lane spaventosamente bella..roba da star male!!

  • I totally loooooooove it, soooo great, and you really believe she is a real star, and the crowd is going crazy, so cool =)

  • I love this music, it's so powerful that i can't explain!... I feel happy when i listen this music, there aren't no more musics like this one.
