I saw this show 3 times and loved it each time. I was also fortunate to meet her backstage after my second visit (having brought a theater party of 60 to see her), and she was gracious enough to spend a couple of minutes with me, even after singing her heart out for over 2 hours! A nght I'll never forget. Lena is a performer we'll never forget
I saw this show on videotape. Lena tore up the song "Yesterday when I was young'! It's an unforgettalble song on its own, but when Lena performed it, she made me feel such aching regret...it haunts me.
OMG, I totally remember this commercial! I was just a kid when they were running it! I wish I could have been old enough to have caught any of her shows! Thanks for the memories!
