Well the problem is out of the bands you listed only Exodus was around when Metallica started and one of the guitarist/founding member of Exodus was Kirk Hammett who left to play for Metallica. Also Metallica released an album before the rest of those bands.. This is when they formed:

Exodus 1980(didn't release music till after Metallica was formed), Metallica 1981, Testament 1983 and Pestilence 1986

So i don't think Metallica was getting their sound from these bands..

We did bring the plague of hair metal to the world, but you have to admit, America has spawned some of the best Metal bands in the world Death Slayer Suffocation Morbid Angel Black Sabbath (you know, the guys who invented metal) Cephalic Carnage Dream Theater Mastodon Type O Negative we've got a pretty decent repertoire (look, I used a french word) so don't bash all of us because you've got a vendetta against a minority.
