Sure a mage is a awsome class but there is one class that can take a mage (if the player is skilled) I'm talking about Warlocks, even if the mage kills a lock it would die of the DoTs.

But as Carnius did in the move... You need to be a mage. =D

Well done good sir. There are however some good mages out there. I'm horde and when i was a wee noob i saw a single alliance mage (I couldn't tell the level at the time) take on 3 level 70s at once. All the 70s were at nearly full health. There were, I believe, a shaman, a hunter and a warrior.

Because he is a mage. He can't wear leather, mail or plate. Cloth is his only option. Cloth chestpieces are mostly robes. That's why.

I don't think it can, I thought you need 21 to get Presence of Mind and 11 in fire to get puroblast...that's 42 not 32. And that's only if you don't get any other talents on the side.
