I'd like to mention surry hills is nothing like williamsburg for the following reasons 1) Williamsburg actually has talented artists living there, not pretentious rich kid students 2) food and living is affordable to the common person, not only to rich kid students 3) in williamsburg people don't look you up and down to make sure you're dressed like a rich kid student

Sure there are some annoying people in Surry Hills (like the ones in this vid), as there are in every suburb. But there's plenty of genuinely nice people who - despite having similar interests, i.e. creative industries, fashion and music - are not carbon copies of each other.

When I lived there I happily rode around my NON-fixed gear bike and never felt the need to dress a certain way or to know what the fuck a ristretto is.....
