try just 2 instead of 4 (if thats seriously what youre running), crysis doesnt work properly when you use more than 3 geforce cards, maybe its the same with ati. you should have WAY better results than 20 frames, you should be able to play the game at very high settings. hell, i have a single 5850 and get about 30-40 fps @ 1680x1050, with 2 4850s you should come close to that. the rest of my pc is high end though, maybe your cpu or ram is bottlenecking?

@SuckItLily nope very high @1680 x 1050, system is a 3.8ghz core 2 duo, 4gb ram and o.c'd (700/1060) 4850 :-). Although i prefer to run dx9 and 'force' very high as it seems to run smoother.

Not true, i run crysis and warhead with no problems at all with framerate drops with everything on highest level with 8xAA and i get nothing but a smooth fast running game, i have a 920 II X4 QUAD CORE PHENOM PROCESSOR, 4 GIGS OF RAM, A 4870 1gig AND A 4890 1gig CARD IN CROSSFIRE, AND MORE but you get my gist.

Well, there is no support for multiple ati gpu's in crysis, if I'm not mistaken, they didnt ever code any support for it. So it's running on only one 4850.

unlike nvidia, ati crossfire doesn't need the game to support it. It just splits the screen into 64 different boxes and tells each card to draw a fourth of them

Admitedly, there are more efficient forms of crossfire that can be used if the game supports it, but corssifre is still enabled on pretty much anything, supported or not... although I thought that if the game didn't support it, 'scissoring' would instead be used, where the screen is split horizontally and each GPU takes care of one of those splits. I think that '64 box' method needs the game to support it. I could be wrong.

I play at 1680x1050 and get around 25-20fps with DX-10 everything on very high. Without DX-10 I get around 35-40 fps and im only using a single 4850. Are you using the new 8.8 Catalyst Drivers? I'm using a dual core e8500 at 3.8mhz, Asus P35 mobo. Really not sure why your fps is so low with Crossfire. :(

wow you have nice fps for very high i think cpu is very important for crysis since i have 4870 and phenom x4 2.6ghz and im getting less fps in very high than u, anyway its very playable in high settings for me. well crysis needs a great processor...or at least a big amount of ghz
