In my neighborhood that price would get you an old 2 bedroom maybe 3 baths and no more than 2,000 sq ft! My goodness, however the average price for a home in my neighborhood is 550,000+ but I live in a really nice neighborhood, and it's not even gated! But I like #1 it has great potential

Thats a sweet deal including a movie projector screen for the movie room and TV's for the kitchen, and all stainless steal energy efficient appliances. I'm still torn between the two but hopefully i'll make the right decision. PS: I haven't told yah yet.. But love the new hair!

My personal choice would be house 1. Of course depending on the price, but if its in the same price range as house 2 defiantly get one. More bang for your buck. But then again it really would depend on alot of different factors like yea house one is big but if your planning on staying in the area for years it would defiantly be to your advantage because you will grow into the house. just my opinion !! Both houses are gorg !! Either on would be a blessing to have. thanks for sharing !!!

althought the first house is amazingly big and beautiful, for a first house the 2nd house is more ideal and less maintaining and cleaning and less space, depends house much space you want. they are both amazing, but for 2 girls. the second one would be better ! :) xx

@luckyxlavender I actually live in a college town in a huge city. It's a buyers market right now not a sellers market. The houses i'm looking at are usually in the mid 400's to 500$'s but since the market is so bad everyone is selling for less. Makes me happy though. I feel so blessed to be able to purchase a beautiful home at 21 :)

Both are very nice. I think that the 2nd one would be best for you since you aren't married or have children, and a student. Less space to worry about cleaning, and your utility bills wouldn't be as high. Either way, you pick the best for you. Only you know what will be the perfect home for you.. Good luck Sweetie :)

Houses in America are so CHEAP! For $300,000 you get a tiny 2 bedroom apartment with tiny bathrooms (no bath tubs) and we don't have walk in closets. So jealous! I like house number 2 more :)

Both houses are beautiful. I think #1 has more space but #2 is prettier on the outside && the inside is gorgeous as well. It has a lot more "unique" things about it. I LOVE the kitchen. I personally like house #2 better. =] They're both amazing homes though && I'm sure you'll make the right choice!!

They are both amazing. The first has lots of space, but also got to remember that means lots of money on furniture and the 2 door garage is good. The second has still big bedrooms, closets and bathrooms and not as much space to furnish. I say second so it can be cozy.

House number 1! because of the higher # of rooms. Just because house number 2 has more detail isn't enough reason to pick over 1 due to the fact that it has less rooms. You can always add more detail to the rooms you have for a more reasonable price, but if near the future you wanted more rooms, the construction on its own would be thousands. house # 1:)
