hi japan discoveries. i was planning going to japan next march 2012. if i bought this guitar on your places, do i get the hard case? cause i was planning to bring it back on plane. i'm afraid the guitar gonna scratched or damaged because of the plane baggage.

I have the ESP Ganesa III (you know with the purple finish, for those of you who don't know), and I asked ESP to change the wood to Koa, because I'm not a big fan of Mahogany. My Ganesa sounds EXTREMELY GOOD, for the price of.... $14,000. Worth the price? HELL YES.
Now the Edwards versions of the Ganesa is not that bad. I've tried an Edwards version (forgot which model), and they're not that bad. Would recommend it to someone who can't afford an ESP Ganesa though.
You really spent 14 grand on an ESP? Dude that esp is worth maybe 2 grand, even so the specs on the real esp are worth 900$ in the eyes of a real guitarist.
Well, I had it customized a bit to my preference. I told them to put Dimarzio Evo's instead of EMG's, because EMG's are too crunchy for me. I changed the scale of the neck, I made it a 27 1/2", with a V contour. I changed the body and neck wood to Koa for a better tone. Scalloped the fretboard just a tiny bit. I told them to also add a bit of weight to the body. So yeah, it's just a tiny bit different than the original, but that little difference, in my eyes, made it worth $14,000.
Yeah, no pics means it didn't happen. Only a serious musician would buy that and a serious musician would have some vids, Liars on the internet are just pathetic.
lol, I doubt ESP japan would quote 14 grand on those changes.. sh*t,. just how much are Pups nowadays? 90 bones? or 100 tops. and scalloping?? or a board of koa even?
i'm guessing (based on that dude's guitar):
the magical koa neck's 3 grand by itself. the magical Evo pups ran em like 1 grand for each pup? then, the legendary scalloping job was 5k. the overall contouring of the body was 2k then all godlike hardware only found in atlantis ran em a good 2k.
Well think about it. ESP doesn't even make ESP Ganesa III's on a mass-production line to start out with. Considering a regular ESP K-GA-650 will run you a good 7,500 USD without tax, without shipping. (Freight charged cost me about 500 USD, not that big of a deal). I also failed to mention that I bought a lot of accessories, and an amp head I've been dying to find in the states, but couldn't really find it. Sorry about the mix up. The actual quote was 9,500 USD. Sorry about the mix up.
@martianbitch I also call shenanigans, Kaoru's guitar has Japanese Zombie heroes written on the back of the neck, no way that guitar would be worth that much unless it were actually the exact same as Kaoru's

Oh my God, I wouldn't even touch it, or look it, or even get a spec of a molecule on Kaoru's guitar.

Oh and, this is an Edwards K-GA. The actual ESP branded Ganesa is worth a lot more.
