  • This is OK but it goes nowhere near where the problems lie. I read about lens design as a hobby (I am a mathematician) and I think it would be more interesting to show a bird's eye view of real design process - why one would want to adjust this surface or why to split an element in two, etc.

  • cool but he didnt cover what happens when an object is placed ON the focal point of a thin convex lens, like this --->> ()!! there is no image!!! try it and trace the lines, its cool
