  • Sweet truck dude fucking love it!!! GO FORD!!!

  • idk what color i want to paint mine flat black or this grey they'd both look good but idk

  • What sun visor do you have on your cab? I want to get one for my 79

  • @Fordfanforlife777 I'm not sure exactly because it was already on it when I bought the truck.

  • Dude your truck is bad ass!!!! I have a 73' F250 2wd but wish it was a 4x4 :( Hey what color is your truck? I just recently painted my truck flat black and painted the rims gloss black. Will post another video soon but you should check out my two videos. Awesome truck!

  • @Martinez64 Thanks!!! It's gunmetal grey.

  • you wont sell yours ?

  • @mxriderae No way! lol This is my favorite vehicle of all time...I will take this over any exotic.

  • am looking for a long bed 1977 to 1979 truck .. 4x4 anything around ?

  • @mxriderae I haven't really seen too many for sale around here lately. And the ones I do find around here for sale are usually rusted out and junk.

  • BEAUTIFUL!! I love the old Fords to death. I've been tryin to get my hands on one

  • like the color of it

  • ummm can I ask you a question? well I am going to ask anyway haha are you shipping this truck to me or do I have to pick it up there?? hahaha jk sick ass truck man I want it haha

  • love your truck my dad had a 77 f150 as a project truck for me and him when i was in 5th grade and then my house burnt down and we never got around to workin on it so he junked it... i really like what you did that was our plans with our 77 also

  • just wonderning how long you have had your truck and where you are from

  • @nutter616 I've had for a little over 4 years now. Live in Ohio.

  • Damn, that truck is nice.

  • go ford or go the fuck home

  • @cotequadsport speaking the truth haha

  • i love how them old fords make big tires seem soooo small, my 79 has a 6" with 35's and they still seem small, great truck!!!! i subscribed to you as well!

  • I have a 1979 Ford F150 supercab. I'm wanting to lift it 6 inches with 37's. I've been told you have to swap for a long driveshaft, I know nothing about what driveshaft fits what lift. I'm only 14 and I'm trying to ge tmy truck already for highschool so please help me out. I already have been looking around for lifts, I have an Idea what I'm wanting and I for sure want 37's. Right now my main concern is this driveshaft stuff I don't understand. I can't find what I'm looking for on forums. Help??

  • @Mud24Bog To be honest I'm not sure if you will need a longer driveshaft or not. I have heard from some you don't and from some you do. My situation is a little different because I don't have the Ford 9 inch rear any more. If you do need a longer one all you have to do is have the shaft lengthened by a good driveline shop. you can have a new one made but it will run you quite a bit more. There are also some places online that will build a custom shaft, High Angle Driveline And Tom Woods.

  • @Mud24Bog Either way you go you will need some measurements. Do a search on those 2, get their phone numbers and call them and they can give you more info on what would work best for you. Hope this helps.

  • @Mud24Bog, Go to ford truck enthusiasts web site....search that on google. You have a pretty good base, scince it is a super cab you have more distance between the transfer case and the rear end, thus less angle on the u-joints = less wear on them. If i were building that truck id personaly go with a 4 inch lift and 35s or 36s(a bit cheaper) Thats all you will really need. But to each his own.

Id get the lift kit get it put in and at that point determine if you need to lengthen the driveshaft

  • I love your truck! I'd like to see some more videos...so please load some up!

  • how big is the lift in the truck

  • I am trying to buy a truck thats like this only its cherry red and has smaller tiers and lift. really good looking truck dude :)

  • how much did that lift cost with install.

  • how much did that lift cost with install

  • It looks kind of random just driving across the lawn XD. Nice truck.

  • just put 15k into my 79 pickup. 6 inch skyjacker lift. 17 inch rockstar rims, 37 inch micky thompsons. bull bar. roll bar. 8 KC spotters. 351 boss engine.

  • how much lift are you runnin?

  • Nice truck, drink 4 pots of coffee and a couple shots of vodka, play some pantera and then try that again please.

  • truly beautiful.

  • i like it

  • sounds healthy. beautiful truck. 351? 460?

  • whats that color

  • @appledumplingduo it's gunmetal grey

  • @baloghlcb i thought it was charcoal grey..lol

  • Mines Still all stock... xD.. The condition is bad. But I have the same back window. Im going to replace it with either a Single Window or No window. The 2 windows on the back seem easy to kick in and they don't even lock. :-/ I just want piece of mind on security. Mine will be a daily driver. But idk if you use ur's as a daily driver or its a toy.

  • @ccraig412 Yeah mines basically just a toy and nothing of any real value inside...and if somebody stole it wouldnt be hard to spot and find them lol.

  • @baloghlcb Haha, I'm puttin a lo-jack on ma shit. lol. I dont wanna restore this truck and loose it. But as long as ur's isn't realy a daily driver, u dont have much 2 worry bout. :)

  • @baloghlcb Haha same with mine. Mine is super easy to get in and jack but its more hassle then its worth. Wouldnt help that Ive got the only half shit/half tan colored lifted f150 in the area too. Have yet to come across another that even looks close to it. Nice trucks tho, I love how big the 70s F series looks

  • @baloghlcb LOL you gonna chase them down Lol

  • any driveline problems or modification?

  • @oldhawkins Only driveline problems was breaking 2 9inch rear ends lol. Second one was custom built for higher horsepower but still broke. Running a Dana60 now and I have traction bars.

  • NICE TRUCK... ALL MOST LOOKS LIKE MINE...

  • i love this truck.

  • what does he say at 0:20 lol

  • thats a good tire to truck ratio right there

  • how many inch lift

  • @Foxracing192014 12 inches total. 9 inch suspension and 3 inch body lift.

  • what color paint is that

  • wat size lift?

  • awesome truck man! wish I could find a 70's ford.

  • @4wheelermaniac500 hey ive got a 79 ford f250 for sale. its got a 460 and auto trans. 4wd. everything works, im selling for 2000.00 because i need the money, all the truck needs is painted.

  • @sebdab64 I cant afford anything right now. need a good reliable DD and want a boat before anything.

  • Nice truck, my cousin is rebuilding one identical to that one. And I'm currently redoing my dad's old 81 stepside f150, runnin' with a 460 bored over 40.

  • whats it got for a motor? sounds like a 5 liter but i could be wrong

  • beautiful truck

    im jealous lol

  • damn thats a bad ass truck, really nice, sounds great

  • Damn..... thats m dream truck right there haha

  • Ion alloys?

  • If I remember right, i think they are lol. bought them on ebay.

  • do you know what is done to this motor i love the lope it has i want mine to sound like it....im boring 30 over and i have what someone told me was a bigger cam, 4 barrel intake and carb 351m i just want a nice lope to mine thanks

  • unfortunately i dont remember what cam is in it because the guy i bought it from 5 yrs ago did the rebuild. mild cam tho, offenhauser intake, edlebrock carb, rebuilt heads, headman longtube headers, no cats and flowmaster original 40 series

  • sweet truck i have the same lift but i have a set of 44s im putting on there but i dont have it together you think that will work just fine. i have repalaced 100% steerin components, you think ill still have play if so what should i do thanks alot

  • Thats awsome! yeah 44s should be fine with that amount of lift and unfortunately there is a chance you will still have some play play in the steering. one thing you can look into is hydraulic assisted steering. They have kits that you just have to tap your steering box or ones that come with a whole new box, all depending on how much you want to spend.

  • need some ladder bars bud

  • Yep I have them...just havnt installed them yet.

  • @boogaloog123 ya im just nervous i dont want my wheel wells to looked stuffed and idk i wish i could find a truck like this one with same lift and runnin 44s i have friends that have less 3 inch and 44s but they look stuffed and i dont want that at all anyone know how to much i nice custom lift includin what i already have? thanks

  • a 466 or 514 or heck a 521, 545 would make that thing even more of a beast. some ported dove heads, a victor with a 1050 dommy, headers, roller rockers and that bitch would scream. Does that 400 even turn them tires in the muck!?

  • what size of engine do you have in that beast i have a ford f-250 400m big block with a 4 speed trans with a foot lift

  • I have the 400 with the 4 speed as well...hopefully someday a 514.

  • @bree7878 that's a small block com padre

  • Fucking bad ass.

  • such a nice truck

  • 302 .30 over with Edelbrock carb in my 77, purrs like a fuckin kitten too! beautiful sound

  • @TheNetIntelligence Check out my FI 333 in my 79 F-150, made 493hp on the engine dyno and I’m still in the process of getting twin turbos for it

  • thats what my 77' is going to look like when I get done restoring it next year, except without the huge tires and the lifting, that looks a little silly, but damn nice truck otherwise!

  • wow nice truck

  • Awesome truck man. I got a 77 f250 highboy running on 35's.

  • Nice 150 I've got a 1976 f150 that i'm getting ready to install a lift on. Not sure to go with a 6 or 9 inch lift. Can you run the 38's with just the 9 inch lift and not the 3 inch body lift?

  • Yeah you should be able to fit them fine...mine's actually a bit tall for 38s, I can fit 44s with that much lift.

  • That truck is sweet. always wanted a ford of that body style. Finding one arounde here that isnt a POS is hard to do.

  • 8 inch lift?

  • 9in suspension and 3in body lift

  • oh lol thats a nice truck man!

  • My Boyfriend has a 79 F150 that he is doing some work on now...has a hellashious sweet paint job. Its all Jacked Up too! Sweet ass TRUCK!

  • Nice job.

    Where's the roll cage?

    Need one for true safety.

Can't wait for lifted off-road hybrids.

  • beautiful!

  • Hey guys i drive a B2 with a motorcraft carb : |. Any suggestions on carbs? Edelbrock? Holley?

  • They are both good...mine runs better with the Edelbrock tho...for some reason just wasnt staying tuned with the holley.

  • Thanks man I appreciate it

  • wat size engine r u running and wat mods if any

  • It's a 400 bored .30 over, new cam, offenhauser intake, edelbrock preformer carb, not sure about the heads,pistons,etc...engine was built by guy i bought it from.

  • wat model edelbrock i have the same enigne in my 78

  • Its model number 1406...600cfm. it runs much better with it than the holley i had.

  • you might wanna look into a borgeson steering shaft also, helped alot with mine. Whats PSC?

  • Yeah I have a borgeson steering shaft as well...its no where near as bad as it was stock. PSC Motorsports makes steering components...company from Texas I think. I also have their tie rod link which accepts larger tie rod ends than the stock 78-79 Fords.

  • Looking to do the same with my 78 f250 (no body unless i do the bushings then maybe), i can only seem to find the 6in and not the 9. Guy at skyjacker said it would clear 40's witht he 6 though.

How is your steering? lots of play?

  • I wanna get 44s cuz the 38s look a little small with 12" of lift. Yeah i have some play and i even replaced the steering box with a PSC one...eventually i wanna get the hydraulic assist steering kit from PSC.

  • Skyjacker and body lift?

  • Yeah its a 9inch Skyjacker with full rear springs, not the add-a-leaf and 3 inch body lift. Getting rid of the Skyjacker shocks tho and replacing with bilstein 5125 series.

  • 6 inches and 35s?

  • 12 inches with 38s

  • i meant would 6 inches and 35s work good together on my truck like this?

  • oh ok sorry i misunderstood lol...and yes that should work fine....should give it a very nice stance.

  • ha yea by the way your truck is badass !

  • thanks!! she's all torn apart right now tho and i barely have time to work on it :(

  • Nice

  • wow sound bad ass, I have the same tires on my Excursion with an 8 inch lift.

  • nice truck

  • For

    Off

    Road

    Driving

    Fuck chevy

  • Sick Truck man!!! Those old FORDS are BAD ASS!!!

  • nice truck that dont make'm like they use to.

  • what size lift did you have to put in it to fit the 38"s?

  • I have 12 inches of lift which i can easily fit 44"s. With 9inches the 38"s fit fine.

  • What motor - 351M?

  • 400

  • Same thing but 400 has longer stroke... good motors

  • any mods besides exhaust? i have a 360 with dual 18 inch glasspacks, soon going to 8 inch cherrybombs, your truck is nice, i dont plan to lift mine that much

  • nice truck

  • Holy buckets!! Looks great....but whats this "not gettin' it dirty" stuff? Lol! Ain't that what they're made for!?! These old ones OWN the mud!!

  • sounds tuff how does it pull a load ?

  • honestly im not sure...never pulled anything with it lol...i have had the bed loaded down tho and felt no different then empty.

  • id say to take it to yankee lake or fireball truck night, but it's too nice and clean to get dirty. good choice, 79's and 78's are my all time favs!(: very nice, id take a ride in it anytime:)

  • Yeah 78-79 is my all time favs too! you might see it out there some day..even if not getting dirty lol

  • sube mas videos de esa preciosura de camioneta esta bellisima saludos

  • nice as shit

  • you should straight pipe it because my friend has the same truck and it sounds good

  • lol, man is there any way to drive that thing to a trail? anything over 30 mph would seem fatal

  • Niiiiiiice,

I use to have a truck like that but mine was brown....

  • That truck is bad! 44's!

  • Yea man thats sweet as hell 1st gear is slow i got a 4 speed with the granny gear for 1st on my 79 f250.But anyways how big is the lift like 8 inches

  • 9 inch suspension and 3 inch body lift

  • that thig sounds fuckin nasty. sick truck dude

  • what motor is that?

    460 or 351m

  • Its the 400...hoping to eventually do a 460 or 514.

  • love old fords, hate anything 90+

  • i agree with you man, plus now they got all the fiberglass crap and if you get in a fender bender your car is totaled

  • nice truck man, might be gettin my own tomorrow if everything goes alright. it's a 78 f150 with a swapped 351 Cleveland in it. 7" lift with 35's. cant wait. very nice truck

  • thats badass, i just bought my second 79 project truck, 79 f150 6" suspension 4" body lift with 38.5x15 gumbos, these body styles are the best

  • nice truck

  • i might finally get one here eventually, prolly will have the 400 in it im hopin cause its got a bit more power than the 351m..i hope to see this truck soon on may 15th, yankke lake!

  • Ahh thats cool man! good luck to you...hopefully i can get mine put back together soon.

  • post a comment on my page if u take this truck, ill go and look for it wen im there

  • what color is it?

  • Its gunmetal grey

  • Best looking trucks ever made, I own 2 79 F-150's and 2 79 Broncos. Get respect everywhere with them

  • I've had lots of people take pics with their camera phones sitting in traffic lol. every where i go it gets lots of attention...kids love it.

  • best lookin 79 on youtube awsome truck 77-79 best trucks ever made

  • 77 to 79 fords are the sickest truck!!

    I live in florida and im looking for one now for my first vehicle, the two that i found already have lifts but need work. I cannot wait to put one in the driveway and get to re-doin her=}}}

  • Yeah i think they're the best looking and meanest looking trucks made. And they just keep going. I still see so many of them around being used as work trucks.

  • how much you think a mint condition 79 f-150 is worth? Im trying to sell mine, just put a new motor, new tranny, and new carb on. No rust anywhere, its basically in mint condition.

  • Depending on what motor, model...Ive seen them go for $5,000 and up. here in ohio they run expensive for even jink ones lol.

  • want to do me a favor and spread my truck's link around. I need to sell mine and no luck here in nj.

  • what do u mean like here and other sites?? yeah sure np.

  • yea i know how that goes..i used to have a 98 s10 that got like 25 mile to the gallon now the dodge only gits around 12 haha.

back when gas was $4/gallon i was almost convinced i was gittin 12 gallons to the mile

  • thats a really nice truck even tho im not a big fan of fords haha

  • thx! i actually had a 2001 Ram 2500 as well. the 78-79 fords are my all time favorite vehichle. but was tough with the gas to keep both trucks, so i bought another car :( lol.

  • oh how i envy you!

  • do you carry around a ladder?

  • I'm 6'2" so no problems getting in lol.

  • trucks badass. how much fer the lift and how many inches is that?

  • omg i have wanted atruck like thay for sooooo long it is crasy love it man

  • nice ride

  • too bad its a ford. is that legal to drive in town? i have seen a lifted ford with 12 inch lift in town driving. Legal or not?

  • They actually go on bumper height here to determine if its legal or not, not on lift. rear i think is 28 or 29 inches, mine is somewhere around 38-39, so its not legal lol. but only certain areas will pull u over for it as an equipment violation. both my brother and i have been pulled over where i live :(

  • oh alright, i gotcha. I got a 6 inch jeep lifted and i know that is. I was just wondering cuz my friend also has a 8 inch with a 3 body on his dodge, and cops have been looking at it. thanks for the great info tho!

  • nice truck!! sounds good too

  • Mint!! how much lift and what kind of engine you gots?

  • Truck has 12 inches of lift and has a built 400 modified in it, but might go to a 460 or 514 eventually.

  • Thanks for the info(ronaldsmusicfactory) How much propane do you burn? How long does 80 gal tank last?Approx how much to fill? Cheaper than 4.00 gallon gas?

  • are you from the bryan,oh area.

  • from Akron area

  • what motor?badass truck

  • It has a 400 in it, bored .30 over. New cam, Offenhauser intake, Edbrock Performer carb, Msd ignition, Headman longtube headers. However I'm thinkin about swaping it for a 460 or maybe even 514.

  • i have a 79 f250 with a 460 that runs off of propane never even had a fuel pump lol.its as tough as nails

  • off propane? sounds cool could ya explain a little please?

  • it has a propane converter and a 80 gallon tank that feeds up to the reg carb

    and works great

they outlawed it for a while but now you can get them again big rigs use them sometimes for up hill boost it is just as powerful as gas if not better propane is more explosive than gas so theres no power loss
