It's cruel and unfair to lose a talent like Zellie. As a writer, the idea of having to compete with her was a terrifying thought! I would say though: Zellie wouldn't want anyone feeling sorry for her or missing or mourning her. She'd want us at our fucking keyboards hammering out stories. Her death really fucked me up in ways I'd not like to admit, but today watching this I know that all she would want is for the rest of us to keep dreaming. She killed herself getting that book to print.
