Yeah, I recently went though and in an effort to preserve what's here and help these older videos reach a little further, I expanded the list of tag words on everything. It didn't add up to too much work since I eventually wised up and began putting varied tag words on these things. But some of these reposts only had "ohcurt" and maybe "vlog" in them. Yeesh.
Thats a very good idea. I suspect mine are probably the same.
Back in those days i didn't understand all that tagging business & i guess that if the video is still posted, why not try & attract a bit more traffic towards it?
Having only had 70+ views, that TIME Magazine video could certainly do with a few more! :)
I used to LOVE reading MAD magazine back when I was a kid in the 70's. The MAD movie satire of The Exorcist
(The Ecchorcist) is still with me today. The scene involves two Catholic priests walking in the park discussing the exorcism. In the margin are depicted two rabbis. One says to the other, "Feh! Goyim." The
LOL, that sounds like a classic worth holding on to! It was a staple in my reading habits when I was younger too. But the only vintage copy I have is the one where they spoofed the MTM spinoff "Rhoda" in 1975 (to go with my other Rhoda-related memorabilia).
You're silly. I keep wanting to take down some of my old videos and re-upload them now that I have more subscribers. Unfortunately, I've reformatted my hard drive twice in the last year and am currently using a temporary hard drive. I think they're all backed up to the external, but who feels like digging through everything? =/
I know what you mean. Am currently going through what I've saved and reloading. 90% of what I've put up here is still set as private so as to NOT litter people's subscription pages.
In fact, some that I've saved can't be reloaded at all - including the response vid I made to your 'My Username' video (Outkast playing throughout most of it underneath my yammering).
Instead of reloading them, how about selecting some to show up in that window on your main channel page?
Ooh, good question! I'm guessing it is, but like all the others they probably have a large, or at least growing, online presence as well. MAD was more fun for me when I was a kid - and I did manage to dig up on eBay some years back an issue from the 70s where they spoofed the series Rhoda.
I bet you didn't expect to get a comment on this video after all this time, did you?
I've just watched my original video & have no idea why!

SURPRISE!
Yeah, since Fehquig was the last to comment - two years ago - I can honestly say I didn't expect anyone to land here.
What prompted the revisit to the land of 2006?
:-)

I was searching my uploaded videos for something & my TIME Magazine video popped up. then i noticed you'd responded to it.
I enjoy revisiting these old videos every so often. If only to remind myself of how far i've come.
I'm actually working on a video at the moment all about the "Class Of 2006"

I kinda have to keep the 2 in the big box that let people know my channel "rules" ;) but I did put one down in the other favorites.

Thanks, Andy. Let's hope Time Magazine doesn't pick this out and complain.

BTW I used to love MAD magazine. I used to buy all of the books, the magazines weren't that easily available over here. Is it still going?
