My neighbours wf541 aquarius from previous range does that drain 'thingy' on program 4 which is colourfast cottons 60oc. Weird, we thought that program was faulty, she never uses it anymore, she uses white cottons then selcts 60oc etc.
:D Yeah but mine doesn't do it on programme 1 (Cottons 90C) I found out when doing my maintenance wash, but yeah it does it on Fast Wash 60C every time. Oh right on every programme does yours do it? If so how silly lol
As the start of the wash, my Indesit behaves exactly like this in some cycles... it activates the drain pump for a few secs Can't say I'm happy with it especially if I've used liquid detergent which goes right into the tub after pooring it down through the draw and it might drain away :-(
Oh I was wondering if anyone would pick up on that, yeah it's really stupid esp. if you pour liquid in the draw, i'm not so bad beacause I use dosing balls but It is really stupid. Only happens on fast wash 60C though.
You're welcome. I thought I was the only 1being funny to notice that, so I'm glad u pointed this out. Evidently Hotpoint/Indesit manufacturer knows it best... but, once we've familiarised with the machine ourselves we know what measures to take. The thing with me is that I tend to forget cos' I don't use this washer everyday... I'll try to remember... many thanks ;-)
Nope your the the funny one to notice it, well i'm glad you talked about it too. Yeah they know its best but we have to learn about the things the machines do. Oh well I hope you remember but i'm the same and forget too haha
Yeah normal load it suds well if you put alot in and if a small load then suds up very bad :)
But if normal load and normal doseage of woolite does suds well somtimes and not others. Its just pot lucky really, sorry not a great answer but hope it helps :)
mine does the same on 5 fills drains pauses

@mark89474 Yeah very strange, I think it's a way that the machine heats the water quicker in the cycle, not 100% sure though. Thanks for your comment

You could do as i do, and wait to put it in until the water runs in.
johnny2970 3 years ago
Yeah I think Blanky974 should do that too, it's ok with me as I use a dosing ball :)
Thanks for your comment :)

Hangonthe water was not drained on the interm. spin with sudslock.
glenfieldmathk1 3 years ago
It was it just sudslocked straight away and cos the pump could not handle all of them suds!
HooverAC110 3 years ago
Great sudslock even though the wash wasn't really that sudsy and a nice big load in the machine. That was good to see.

Thanks again

Why is the water tap of it should be on all time?
washingmachine83 3 years ago
I says in the manual to turn the water supply off to the machine, so we do now. Never used to though
HooverAC110 3 years ago
we are supposed to but we never do makes no difference but apparently it has something to do with water pressure
Shakiralover4ever 3 years ago
Yeah it helps the water hydralics in the machine (keeps them from wearing out) according to my manual
