  • ironic, really ironic, i mean, all priests should be in the local police's list of possible pedophiles

  • Atheists are radical Islamists? Ironic, no?

  • @NewYorkerDean No, that is just stupidity.

  • @twiggy120 It is, actually... one who rejects the existence of a magical hoo-hah killing in its name... that's ironic.

  • I LOVE THIS

  • Where is the list?

  • I would just like to point out that Patrick Tillman looks so manly that if I worshiped a god, Pat would be it. Then, he would explode (that's how he would get places) into my room, smack me, and then lecture me on being so irrational and unmanly. Afterwards, he would explode away, taking my gullibility with him, while leaving me to marvel at my new-found strength, intelligence and chest-hair. I just wanted to point that out.

  • crazy ass christians....dumb as rocks

  • Whoa, hold up! Frank Miller is an atheist? Takes all kinds I guess.

  • Your list is incorrect. Bill Gates is agnostic and Eisnsteins religion was debated. You're using invalid and misleading information.

  • @omerick200 Technically everyone is agnostic because no one can know if there is/are a god/gods.

  • @TheLedgendaryNinja Not technically, not figuratively, not in any other way. Agnostic belief is that there might be higher entity. Key word is the belief.

  • @omerick200 Einstein was atheist who confessed to be agnostic, while standing behind the philosophy of deism. Either way, would you mind linking the source about BG?

  • @omerick200 Agnosticism and Atheism aren't mutually exclusive.

I consider myself an Agnostic Atheist.

I don't believe in a god, but i can't know if there is a god.

Also if you're an agnostic, you don't believe in a god. How could you believe in something you don't know exists? Atheism is the lack of belief, not rejection of.

    Believe=theist, everything else including i don't know=Atheist.

  • @omerick200 The point still stands clear, the pastor insulted many great people in present day and throughout history.

  • Religion and morality are not related.

Prison statistics form ALL countries that keep records, clearly show that atheists represent less that 0.20% of the prison population with the USA's being 0.22% for every year since records were kept.

The crimes these atheists commited were also short-custodial.

BTW, to be a member of the KKK, you have to prove that both you, all your relations and forebears are from "solid christian stock".

FYI....The highest proportion behind bars are Catholics.

  • it would ok if bill gates got prosecuted a bit, windows gets a lot of errors and the xbox was an inferior console.

  • It always amazes me that the "believers" are ready to believe in science when it builds them a car to get to church, a watch that gets them there on time, synthetic fabrics to wear to church, a tv to watch their disgusting propaganda shows but they don't believe in science all of a sudden when it disproves their silly little religion as man made fairy tales & Chinese whispers from 2000 years ago. Madness.

  • @yellowscott Get the fundies to play Chinese whispers, but I don't think that would phase them.

I am a retired theologian (DSc and well over 80 with almost 60 years experience)

My conclusion........... ALL religion - and especially Christianity - are bullshit to keep the sheep dumbed down.

  • Basically a list of intelligent, successful, influential people, funny that!! It's always the way, people that can think for themselves & don't have their judgement clouded by the myth of religion can & will always flourish & do better than the brainwashed, vulnerable & weak sheep that waste their time on fairy tales!

  • I WANT THE RELIGIOUS PEOPLE TO TRY AND LIVE WITHOUT THE ATHESITS. THEY WILL DIE IN LIKE 500 YEARS

  • @erti655 Make that 50 years tops.

  • This is comparable to what hitler did to jews. He made them register as jews so they could *cough cough* boycott jewish stores, blame crimes, and be called out.

  • No offsetting list of Christian bigots is needed. People like Stahl advertise themselves. They are ignorant, and proud of it.

  • Brilliant response to an arrogant and ignorant "man of god".

  • Religious Fanatics ..... They preach tolerance but in reality they are the kings of intolerance and arrogance!!!!!

  • Wait, why did I just get a Mormon advertisement before this video?

  • @Merlienia Lucky you, i got a scientology one:P

  • One of the best. Kudos, Seth.

  • I don't have an imaginary friend. You want to make a list and put me on it because of that?

  • great video and all, but mark zuckerburg is a huge douchebag

  • @Oblic008 You don't have Facebook then?

  • Comment removed

  • i was watching the atheist experience once and an atheist caller called in proposing the same thing for religious groups. he was such an idiot. we all have the right to privacy. whether you have an imaginary friend or not.

  • That was "A" for Awsome

  • Most of the "hate groups" mentioned in the first part of the video are professing Christians.

  • Wow, and people (Christians in particular) have the gall to wonder why we get so angry at them. This is the PERFECT example why. This intolerant cunt can kiss my atheist ass.

  • I thought it was gone have a fightclub style ending:

We cook your meals. We haul your trash. We connect your calls. We drive your ambulances. We guard you while you sleep. Do not fuck with us.

  • @Slamixgamer imo that one goes better when uses against so called "social" darwinists

  • I have a better idea.

I would like to have the national sex offender registry merged with the registry of pastors and priests. I would be curious to see how much overlap exists. :)

  • @Diomedes01 Good one i salute you sir

  • Since Einstein died the god of the gaps has been reduced even further, so given the time he lived a deist was a probably a logical conclusion for him.

  • I wonder why the put Einstein in the list, wasn't he a deist?

  • @teoeo Yep, he was, that doesent stop creationists to use him as an argument for their own god, because according to them youre suposed to belive like they do if a smart person does (argument from authority)

  • @Sweddude Ya, I know that they do that, I just thought it was dishonest to list him as an atheist. Actually, the argument from authority is one of the most telling logical fallacies because it reflects the way religious people acquire beliefs (via their church).

  • @teoeo Albert Eistein said during an interveiew" god is the product of human weakeness" he also said " I have repeatly said that in my opion the belief of a persomnal god is childlike" he also said" it is a lie that I believe in a personal god"

  • @mandrillx Yes I know, that doesn't make him an atheist. rejection of personal god does not = atheism. He was pretty openly a deist as he believed in a non-personal god.

  • @mandrillx he even said "I'm not an atheist, and I don't think I can call myself a pantheist."

  • hey , religious leaders like pastor" Michael Stahl " is a great reaason to become an atheist. WEmake posters with his photo on it and all the stupid crap he says.

  • I dont wanna be picky, but you just said "no list will ever contain us" right after showing a pretty impressive list of famous atheists...

  • @MareTranquil Haha

  • We need a law similar to Godwin's Law ("As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1." ) only for the hurling of sexual deviancy accusations.

The Stahl Principle or Stahl's Induction

Something like - "As the number of cogent arguments a theist can muster approaches zero, the likelihood their opponent will be accused of criminal sexual deviance, approaches certainty."

I am sure others can do better but it's a start.

  • It's "genii"!! Sheesh ;-)

  • the KKK and skinheads are christian......

  • wow, the last statement sounded kind of threatening)

  • Did anyone else get a Scientology Commercial before the video?...

  • @sickJLSrecords

Nope adblock for chrome works wonders. You almost forget youtube has ads lol.

  • @Leadman1989 omg. it works wonders

  • I think i'm lucky, in Britain being an atheist is seen as exactly the same as being religious, people accept it and get on with their lives. WTF has America been smoking to produce people like this?

  • @SadeofDarkness

Yeah, it is kinda scary how the country with the cross as its flag is in fact more secularised than a nation founded as a secular nation.

  • cant stand vids like this tbh ..... so fucking what !! there are some famous atheists ..... there are just as many famous idiot jesusists, idiots muslims, idiot hindus, and so on and so on

its also comes across as an appeal to authority on some level. imo

lastly, the voice used in the vid is horrible, oh ok she has a name: julie just ..... stop talking, vow of silence please

  • @mikesomething I actually like her voice, it has a strength to it. And this video is a simple reminder that Atheists are a lot more prominent than that pastor would like to think it so. It also reminds Atheists of the level of dogma associated with our disbelief. So this video can account for multiple constructive facets, what exactly do you feel you have provided.

    TL;DR Shut the fuck up.

  • @TheGODAcronym whats with all the reminding ? why cant you remember anything ? most people can remember stuff ya know

  • @mikesomething That was the poorest excuse for a copout I have ever seen. With content in your post like "jesusists" I guess I shouldn't expect very much. Lets be honest with ourselves mikesomething, you are far from an intellectual and that shines through all to clear when anyone sees that trash rant I just witnessed. Why don't you leave debate and intellectual conversation to those who have an IQ in the triple digits. Thanks bud.

  • @TheGODAcronym stick to subject please, dont insult.

you make out like there is something wrong with peoples memories, im saying there isnt.

dont complain about words you dont know, look them up

  • @mikesomething To say something serves as a reminder is not the same as saying people do not have the capacity for memory. "Jesusists" is not a word in use in the English language.

You ask me to stick to the subject yet you belittle the narrator for her voice. Why don't you take a page out of your own book Thumper.

You are posting on a video meant to spawn intellectual debate, yet you write like a child. Spend more time asking questions and less time opening your facehole.

  • @TheGODAcronym i raised the subject of the voice, and you left it for insults.

and u can stick ur intellectual shit up ur anus, this is youtube, not harvard. u want intellectual debate go to school.

or go to church and chat with the jesusists

  • @mikesomething The internet is for the intelligent to diligently point out those of you who have failed in that right. You cannot post trash on a video produced by "TheTHINKINGAtheist" and fail to see why your backwoods opinions are better kept to yourself. But perhaps I am giving you too much credit. "Who's a good boy slugger, you are."

  • @mikesomething Just wondering where the appeal to authority is? It mentioned known atheists who are well respected for the things they have done. It didn't say "Stephen Hawking, our eternal leader, cannot be wrong", or anything along those lines.

I like that the vid has a half decent narrator, but shes definitely no Morgan Freeman.

  • @TheArmadillion not an effective counter argument... what video did you watch?

More importantly it's far to generous of you to call anything that moron said as a argument.

  • If Michael Stahl have his way, all the famous live atheists would either be executed or imprisoned in concentration camps and worked to death - all the famous atheists of the past would be censored from history books and forgotten. THIS, ladies and gentlemen, is the true nature of American Christian Evangelicalism.

  • @TheVoiceOfReason93 um no thats slippery slope right there lets calm down for a moment

  • @117DieHard

It is a slippery slope - a slippery slope for them. That is exactly what the Evangelicals always wanted! Getting rid of homosexuals, atheists, other religions, sciences, anything they don't like. Some denominations had outright declare their intentions to turn America into a ultraconservative theocratic heckhole That's why we need to stop and oppose their hatred everywhere they go. We simply cannot allow them to have their way.

  • I am not overly keen on making assumptions for the beliefs of others and this video might have made claims which could possibly be refuted. That said, Stahl is obviously a bigot and a complete idiot. Put me on your list of people who can rationalise and think for themselves, a list of those capable of debate and freedom of thought. Put yourself on a list of fascistic, medieval, misogynistic fools.

  • did anyone else have an advertisement for Scientology before this video?

  • @jaminben890

Seems fitting, good job google. Finally got a ad matched with the right video!

  • This video is not very effective in making a counter argument. There are plenty of people who would be labeled sexually deviant and/or who have been convicted of BS "sex crimes" and therefore be eligible for a sex offender registry who have also made great contributions to society. They aren't mutually exclusive.

Also, Muhammad was a pedophile. So are a lot of Catholic priests apparently. and many fundamentalist Mormons.

  • Challenge a person who wants to make a list of atheists with .... a list of atheists.

  • When did Stanley Kubrick ever say he was an atheist?

  • What next, atheists need to wear a yellow star?

  • That was so EPIC!!

  • well this video failed to mention is that this list is exactly like the list the Nazis had for the Jews. so fuck this guy

  • Stahal as probably got a new book coming out !

  • atheists=pedofiles haa, and this video is so dumb, i love how atheists lie putting lots of names up there that actually did believe in God. Another nice try stupid bitch, lies never work. ALbert was not atheist, this video is for humor reasons, nothing more

  • @tnafguy1 I take you want to prove your point.

    Then again, with what proof?

  • @tnafguy1 You call labelling good honest people pedophiles, you are nothing short of a troglodyte !

  • @tnafguy1 Yeah! Troll it Brother! TROLLOLOLOLLOOLOLO!

  • @dudethatsmyhat humor reasons, like ur life ! get out of moms basement, for u are the real troll living in darkness haa

  • Damn, that would be scary. Not cost effective for a business though.

  • are you...

okay, i propose a list of names, addresses, photos and everything else of stupid christiano-nazi fuckheads like this one. i have the right to know which extremist christian terrorist-psycho-sociopats live near me.

  • THIS IS SPARTA!

  • We are Anonymous, We are Legi...Aww darn wrong video :<

  • WAIT A second!!! Aren't many (Most?) convicted sex offenders, ex-cons, terrorists, hate groups, the KKK, Skinheads and radical Islamist members of a some religious group?? Other than the radical Islamist, how many are members of a Christian church??

Yep Pastor Stahl is is a true religious IDIOT and one reason atheists have become so vocal

  • Im not Atheist, im Wiccan, but i do agree that christians are the top reason for a good portion of the suffering through out history

  • lol hate groups such as the KKK, riiight, Christianity is the original racist group......

  • Isn't it ironic that Christians are taught that they will be persecuted for their faith, and indeed they believe that...yet they are the ones persecuting others.

  • @AMilitantAgnostic Agnosticism and Atheism aren't mutually exclusive, but you are right, absolute certainty on both sides is bad. However the vast majority of Atheists I know including me are agnostic. Absolute certainty is much more common on the Theist side.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah, and Christians are the ones being persecuted lolololol

  • Let them spout off all they want.. im so glad i became an atheist, who wants to be around such ignorance..

  • This was some whacked out online church (whatever that is), to treat this as if it is the desire of Christians is simple propaganda -- the message? If you are Atheist you are in danger, Christians want to hurt you. I've seen Atheist online that make it clear they want to ban religion. As an Agnostic, extremist on both sides are concerning to me. Propaganda is extremism and this IS propaganda! The world is less Atheism vs Theist as it is the absolutely certain vs the rest of us.

  • Such great videos on this channel! Thanks.

  • Why not make nonbelievers wear special symbols sewn onto their clothing.

Then create areas for them to live in, we could call them atheist ghettos.

Then we can look for a final solution for the atheist problem.

Why stop with atheists though, I can think of several other groups that need to be put on a special list.

how about Homosexuals, Disabled people, Socialists, Muslims and Jews!!!

  • @ultrademigod Exactly!

  • @ultrademigod Your comment scares me... Poe's Law... Poe's law...

  • @Xel963 I'm not sure if you're comment about my comments was serious or not.

Are you in fact poeing me right now?

  • Comment removed

  • I liked that they put Jeremy Clarkson in the list....

  • @davidlee just what i was thinking, yet i can imagine ignorant people finding this acceptable as it is against athiests rather than thiests

  • Just saying, but didn`t Hitler start by making lists of known Jewish families, as well as their locations, personal information, and affiliations? Is it just me or is that a little disturbing?

  • @davidyee Typically the thoughts of most religious believers are disturbing.

  • DO NOT CLICK ON THE VIDEO THAT LOOKS LIKE A CHICKS ASS! FIGHT THE POWER!

  • They also would want Tillman preached to so he doesn't die in war for the all American Christian God and wake up in hell. This guy will never get his ideas passed but if he did it would be worth a violent revolution. But like I said, it won't happen.

  • There is a major problem with this video's argument, even if it isn't actually directed at the pastor, anybody who would agree with him is inclinded to also believe this/ Anybody that radical is going to detest almost everybody you mentioned. Do you really think somebody that fundamentalist wants women's rights, would like Bertrand Russel who was a major influence in liberal thought and to Noam Chomsky, They also hate Hollywood celebrities, entertainers, and scientists.

  • @MrNicMachiavelli I was thinking the same thing...

  • I don't think he ever said that their conclusions mean nothing

  • I have no doubt the list of famous atheists would be much longer than this if a) it was widely understood that you can be both atheist and agnostic (gnosticism applies to what you think you KNOW, and theism toward what you BELIEVE (Tyson, Sagan and others have made statements like "I don't KNOW enough to be an atheist"); and b) there was no social stigma attached to being an atheist. I can think of several names right off the bat that I didn't even see on this list.

  • @DandAinTac Gnosticism is actually misapplied there, refering to a specific religious movement based on enlightenment and liberation theology, but I see what you're saying.

  • Shit like this is a sign that religion is on its way to extinction. People like Stahl are crying out for attention in a vain attempt to stop the tidal wave of change.

  • isnt the kkk a christian orginazation?

  • Srsly stahl?!?! Im a christian...but ur being a hitler...he did this 6 yrs b4 wwII

  • @Texanteen99 Stahlin? xD Had to lol

  • You know what? He shouldn't be allowed to use a lightbulb, watch a movie, listen to recorded music, use a microphone, use any computer with either of the two biggest operating system in the world on it, or have a smoke detector in his house that uses a radioactive battery.

Maybe he should be allowed to use any medicine developed since the discovery of Germ theory, either, since modern antibiotics take mutation into account and he's probably a Creationist.

  • @dechha1981 Well you shouldn't be allowed to use gravity because Newton believed in God. You are as bad as this Pastor Stahl.

  • @philackey

    You do realize I was half kidding to make fun of his logic, right? Also, just so you know, and I say this as a freind;

You are a fucking moron. I'm just letting you know that.

  • I'm not the only one who's reminded of the Holocaust, right? I mean, isn't his idea more or less the first step of the Holocaust?

Not that it'd work, anyway. All he'd do is force us into hiding.

  • @dechha1981 Hide HELL....He can come get me if he wants to.

  • @dechha1981 Like anne frank

  • @rpotts1

No, more like gay celebrities in the 50s, except we wouldn't even have to bother hiring beards to date.

  • Now that is a list that I would be proud to be on. I can only hope that I can contribute a tiny fraction of what some of those people have.

  • This was beutiful, and I wish these kinds of things would be on tv instead of the brain decaying shows like "jersey shore"

  • People like Michael Stahl are the reason why I'm an atheist. These religious fundamentalist want to make the lives of us atheists, agnostics, secular humanists, and free thinkers suck because we don't fit their worldview. That my friends is called intolerance.

  • Doesn't realize that he would be boycotting major universities at this rate. Eventually he and his followers would be the dumbest people around.

  • @1234yersiman Eventually?

  • Hey thinking atheist! your videos are incredibly well produced...

amazing voice overs and overall coherence and clarity!

thanks for the amazing work you put into each one of them....

  • uh, mr. Atheist? Could you change your symbol? That's the, ah, anarchy symbol... XD

  • @garulia17 Get a load of this guy.

  • @WolfVisser1 it was a...joke O.o

  • Well, no wonder he wants this list. The majority of people who you mentioned at scientists who helped us better understand our natural world and improve our lives through technology and medicine as well as those who stand up for human rights. Such people are crippling to religious influence.

  • Where do I sign up for this list?

I regret that I have, but one thumbs up to give to this video.

  • Ugh. People like that give Christians a terrible name. Stahl (and others like him) should know better. After all, Christians were forced to "register/identify", discriminated against, hunted down and killed many times (and still are in some countries). Why want to discriminate against another group of ppl like that? not saying they want to hunt down and kill athiests, but it all it takes is one nut to get ahold of that list. As a Christian, I have to say this is absoluetly appaling.

  • @cra9366 If you'll excuse me, every religion has hunted down and killed people of different faiths, so don't make christians seem like victims.

  • @Platibus666 Oh I'm not saying that at all...I'm just saying that Christians have been hunted down as well...I mean you're always going to have stupid people doing stupid and evil things regardless of their faith (or non-faith). All I was saying was that it was foolish for a Christian to want to further persecution because they (like others) have been persecuted. I never said ONLY Christians were victims, but you can't deny that they have been, and still are in some countries.

  • @cra9366 yeah the crusades never happened. Oops it did. The Witch Burnings never happened. OOPS it did. The Inquisition never happen. OOPS IT DID!

  • @DutchDoomGaming

@DutchDoomGaming Crusades were a defensive attack after 450 of persecution...for whatever reason i couln't post the link but if you google Sean Madden crusades, he's a historian who went really in depth about it...

Witch burnings...yeah, it happened, but does it make all Christians bad? I for one never burned anyone alive and I know plenty of other Christians who haven't either :)

Inquisition...Yes, it was set up by the Church, but after ppl were tried (a

  • @cra9366 (and ususally found guilty) they were then handed over to the secular authorites. "Most trials resulted in a guilty verdict, and the church handed the condemned over to the secular authorities for punishment. Burning at the stake was thought to be the fitting punishment for unrecanted heresy, probably through analogy with the Roman law on treason. However, the burning of heretics was not common in the Middle Ages; the usual punishments were penance, fine, and imprisonment."

  • @cra9366 that quote was from yahoo education btw

  • holy fuck . . . lol holy

  • Would be funny if all atheists would gather up and left the idiots to fend for themselves. I think that they would either perish/back to stone age or would be forced to confront the truth because they would need the services of science.

  • Atheists and more specificity Agnostics do, it's called Australia, or even Europe, the amount of people at the University I work at that moved here to study Biology because of this issue is actually very astounding.

These issues effect the educated highly, thus they seek areas where they can study, experiment and learn without people like this telling them they are going to hell.

  • @GreedyCapybara7 well i didn't knew that, interesting piece of info, but i was talking bit more literally hehehe, cheers m8 :)

  • There are approximately 1 billion atheists worldwide... You can't subjugate so many people.

  • like almost everyone in sweden would be on that list becouse a big majority of us are atheists

  • Fine Video, but why do they think Stahl gives a hoot about any of the people listed in it?

  • I think this list is a great idea. If God-wads would take it upon themselves to give me a wide berth, that would just be wonderful.

  • Atheist pride yeah yeah yeah!

  • I personally believe that most religious people, Christian or otherwise, are good and decent people. There is however a fraction of believers who use their religion as an excuse to force others to behave as they see fit. They seek to strip the freedoms we Americans are so proud of from their fellow citizens and believe their faith gives them the right to pursue an "end justifies the means" approach. Pastor Stahl is just such a person. Make no mistake, he is an enemy of our society.

  • Fuck that guy! I'm an atheist. I'm not a sex offender, nor a kkk member! religion is judging people because of what they believe in. If there was no religion more people would be alive today. People kill each other because of religion. On the news a year ago a young girl was stoned to death because she was dating a guy who had a different religion the first person to throw that rock was her dad come on people really fuck religion fuck god your brain washed and too stupid to realize there is no

  • Beautiful video

  • Yes! Atheists are dangerous to our children! They might actually make them... think for themselves!

  • @Akira625 omg, how else will we brainwash them into working in coal mines?!?!
