@mpowertuning The U.K. is different to Europe, our speedlimits are MPH and we drive on the left, Europe is all KPH and drive on the right (except Ireland, the use kph and drive on the left!)

Firstly i'm wagering you are American? This seems like a typical American thing to say.

I'll explain below in handy points why i 've come to this conclusion.

@sf200425997 Just to reiterate my previous points so you can understand what i've written previously.

The UK has right hand drive cars and we drive on the left hand side of the road

Our speedos are in MPH (with having to be indicated as well in order to pass our MOT)

The rest of Europe ALL use KPH and the majority of their countries are LHD (barring Ireland as far as i know)

Rad my posts again - in none of them have i mentioned member ship of the EU, i've simply talked about driving rules.

@69mrbrightside691 You only get to use it 7 times IIRC, it'll then bring on an error light when you have the M button pressed. Think its to do with the clutch wearing out?

yes just the M models.

But u can install it for your automatic gearbox too just go to the tuning garage or a big computer man because install an launch control system isnt a very hard thing:)

dude it isn't that easy , a friend of mine installed a launch control on his 6-Speed Manual M3 , several CPU-head guys worked on it for a week and after about 1 month the ECU gone mad ; we couldn't choose the settings of gearbox , it decided itself

@Midnightss How about you complain to BMW - the car decides when to shift when you use the launch control. All the driver does is hold his foot flat to the floor ;)

@Midnightss In case you cant figure that out on your own, im gonna tell you that when the engine was hitting the rev limiter, tyres were spining, and car was still accelerating. I think one of the best cars in the world with probably the best engine ever put inside any car and the best gearbox knows better than you.
