I would use the maps in the 'header' folder, as INI folder was just a dump for the default map data before finalization for commercial games, hence the different names, using either the INI or header doesn't make any difference in your hack, but it is easier to remember the english map names. Also, whichever folder you start using, don't switch half way because it can create glitches and errors in your hack.

If you go to Swampert Tools, they have a script editor called XSE. Its kinda new to me too, but Im sure it isnt hard to figure out :P

1. You change the scripts with Advance Text. Not Advanced Map.

2. Click on one of the 4 buttons on the right. (Sorry I don't know the button! Just click one of everything and close until you see connections)

3. Just go to Map and click one of the pieces on the right with your mouse; (you don't drag them) Just click it and place it somewhere in the green or on top of something. You can change the maps by clicking one of the numbers in the bottom or use the cities/town.

I have made a new map, I think the dimensions are 100 by 75 (something like that) and I have edited palette # 12.

I also inserted the map into the rom.

However, when I try to start the rom with my emulator, which has proven itself operational, all I see is a white screen. Can somebody please tell me what I might have done wrong?
