  • isnt that plasma

  • New title -

"How to remove image burn in"

  • 0:25 Popcorn :DD

  • uhahahahahahahaha =)

  • you should do that with those piece of shit LCD tvs instead, CRTs rule ! and that is a real shame that so many people are just destroying them for the fun of it .

  • Must say this video made me laugh more then I thought it was going to. It's just amazing what some people get up to in their spare time :)

  • Popcorn ;3

  • Wow look how it dilates when the air rushes in!

  • I always thought they imploded violently. Guess they might be stronger than I thought. All the same, I sure hope you were standing behind something before it went!...:^)

  • The Flatscreen is also incoming? :)

  • remove the o-ring and do it again!

  • @zrafferty We did and with a TV 3 times the size. Search my channel for "Big TV Implosion! "

  • IMPLOSION:

    0:19

  • pop corn tv

  • 0:30 Pretty evil laughing, i think that TV must caused trouble for you and you got new one and...the laughing explains a lot xD ( muahaha )

  • U should have put the whole thing in a fire. The projection lamps in my old TV made a pretty good bang when I burnt it.

  • зато кирпичем его хрен разобьешь!

п.с. спасибо тебе, СССР за чудесное детство :3

  • fucking love that evil laugh at like 0.26!

  • Cathode Ray Tube -RIP jan 15 2011

  • Dinosaur tv

  • just about shit my pants at 0:20

  • good video but wtf is implodes about?...implode means the exact opposite of "Explode"?...it doesnt collapse in on it self, it just pops alittle?

  • gay

  • Led everywhere... Human cruelty!!!! its not real photo shop

  • @DanaHamelit Yes it is you fucktard

  • Fake. Everyone knows glass doesn't explode; it melts. Plus, that flame was red, not blue so it wasn't even a hot torch.

  • @Jamet999 it cracked due to not having enough room to expand when heated, and the torch wasn't hot enough to melt it.

  • @Jamet999 You obviously don't play with fire.

  • it was just the tube dude i want to see a live running tv take the same shit.

  • @jumbojokerjesse Lower right corner of the video is a link to what you want to see. Follow that link to where we blow one with explosives.

  • Judging it being an old t.v. and probably made out of metal instead of plastic most the way, i'd say it's just metal expanding seeing as a blow torch can get hot enough to expand metal. and glass will rupture when set to a temp. I still think you could of placed some go damn m80's in it..

  • You could have used a hammer...

  • Did you know that you can implode it with the beam? Just disconnect the deflection yoke, and power it up with bright video or test pattern. It will burn a hole from the INSIDE out, and implode.

  • If you really wanted to see an explosion, you had to throw a bucket with ice-cold water over it. ;)

  • I love your laugh

  • Remember when you could watch a video without commercial?

Remember when music videos were uploaded by user and not VEVO

Remember when all the info was to the right of the video?

Remember you could rate a video 1-5 stars?

Remember the famous yellow subscribe button?

Remember when the users controlled the site and not corporations?

    WE MISS THE OLD YOUTUBE!

Post this in every video and lets start a youtube revolution

Thumbs up to keep at the top of the page

  • @eion37 Fuck. Off.

  • @eion37 If you REALLY want to watch a video, suck it up and watch the commercial.

Who cares if videos are uploaded by VEVO? Better quality music videos don't bother me.

The same info is right beneath the video today. If you want to read the info pause the video and read it!

You aren't a critic; like or dislike the video.

Honestly, why would anyone care what colour the subscribe button is?

How does the most popular worldwide video site get it's money? From corporations.

    Don't hate YouTube!

  • tv made me itch *scratches* OH NOT AGAIN!

  • well, that tv is now fingered

  • i really need to go to sleep

  • It would have been more fun if it was on.

  • @Xinn2000 Did two more when they were, one with a torch and one where we blew it apart with explosives. It is on the other channel, bluesmokeproductions. Check it out.

  • @acme663ryo I can throw my money in the garbage too! :D

  • I liked the part where you saw the flame

  • sin oficio

  • U broke its heart :(

  • @thevideoman6 i think they broke more than that

  • LOL at the fact that the face of the monitor gives up and throws in the towel. It's like "I am getting the fuck away from here", and tries to escape from the rest of the tube!

  • poor tv :(

  • 0:19 is where the fun begins :)

  • OH MY FREAKIN GWAD< TAHT WAS AWESOME!

  • I expected a more spectacular implosion to be honest

  • In case of implosion, look dirictly at implosion.

  • 0:19 sounded like the noise that happens when u break glass in minecraft......

  • That's an explosion not an implosion

  • HOLD SPACE FOR SLOW MOTION!

  • MOM THE TV IS FIXED!

  • ur pretty sick chubs

  • Next time better do: Your ass + torch = youtube

  • Am I the only one that pressed 9 like 100 times?

  • Click 3 and 1 . wallah! u have ur tv back

  • Now try dropping a fully vacuumed one 3 feet onto a solid floor... Booom... Sony's implosions thunder through your body close up.

  • 2 for not cracked

    3 for cracked screen

  • dur what happens when I heat up glass?

  • CRT's have lots of arsenic, beryllium, mercury, etc. Lots of things that release toxic gas when exposed to high heat and air.

You might want to consider asking a doctor if you should be concerned, as well as leave the window open for about two months.

  • I remember the "old school" television CRTs that would actually send glass flying in every direction when you threw a rock at them. I think recent advances have made CRTs a lot safer so the glass doesn't go flying.

  • Just in case you didn't know those are vacuum tubes... Figured the tenth time was a charm

  • wow, directv add popped up on this!! hAHA

  • its hd rdy now

  • should drop it in a pool and see it the glass is hot enough to get a real implosion.

  • Seriously awesome experiment! THIS is why I love youtube.

  • thats the most evil laugh ever

  • I want that as my screen saver!

  • Nice, I would have done that outside to be honest. I heard it's a good idea to lick the inside of the tube...

  • @ArcadeGames Too cold outside but I will save some for you ;-)

  • Wait a minute.. you were standing there when it broke?

  • @cumesoftware Sweet mother of fuck, ANOTHER ONE. I've been corrected 4 times already. 4 FUCKING TIMES! I KNOW! I FORGOT!

  • @EricsTechTalk oh and expect a ton of corrections from that mistake, pointing out such a fullish mistake is fun, and since the op also commented, we see that long before we see your response.

  • @kght222 Fullish? You mean foolish? Dumbass...

  • @EricsTechTalk woops typo. fair enough.

  • glass takes a lot to melt, incredible

  • press 4 then 3 and then 2 xD

  • 0:30 EVIL LAUGH xD

  • I'd like to see the cracks going very slowly.. it's so fast..

  • Don't try this at home! Go to a friends house! :D

  • That's an explosion, not an implosion. The heat made the gas inside expand, not contract.

  • @EricsTechTalk If you watch closely you can see it suck in on itself as it IMPLODES. To pressurize gasses it would have to have gases in it, not a vacuum.

  • @acme663ryo Oh yeah, you're right. :/ You got me on that one; my bad.

  • @EricsTechTalk TechTalk? and think crt's have gas in them?

  • @1992jamo First of all, the creator of the video called me out on it already, you annoying little fuck. I forgot, okay. Jesus. Second of all, judging by your username, you were born in 1992. I refuse to take shit from a fucking teenager.

  • @EricsTechTalk Oh dear, do calm down!

I was born 1992. Considering you must only be around 3/4 years older than me I find your reply hilarious!

  • @EricsTechTalk

well the crt is totally empty without pressure

so the pressure on the surface just presses it together

and the torch made a weakpoint in the glass and thats where the pressure squeezed it together

  • @web1bastler Yes, I know. I forgot they're vacuum tubes. You're only the third person to remind me; I got it now.

  • @EricsTechTalk you do realize that a crt screen is a big old vacuum tube right? there is no gas inside, it wouldnt work if there was.

  • @EricsTechTalk there is no gas inside.. or anything for that matter inside of a CRT(cathode ray tube) is a vaccum thats why the glass is so thick

  • @k2477456 Jesus fucking Christ, you must be at least the 8th person to correct me already.

  • @EricsTechTalk cool story bro.. hope it happens again

  • @EricsTechTalk i think the glass will melt before the inside presure rizes over 1 bar (ambient presure).

explozion might be the case with a light bulb thow :P

  • @EricsTechTalk Vacuum tube fracturing creates an implosion.

  • idk radiation

  • Next time, turn it on and tune it to Lady Gaga and then blow torch it.

  • @spamdude060 Wrap it in meat first?

  • @acme663ryo Oh how could I forget that!

  • now put it in the microwave ! :D

  • Next time, take the implosion band off >:)

  • I literally just found out today from my audio/ radio engineering teacher that one of these old tvs can implode from dropping it in the right way or extreme heat sooo I had to look it up.

  • Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice !! :-D TV tube and a *POP*. :-D

I like the bit at the end where it breaks, unbreaks, breaks again, then unbreaks again. :-D Funny video edit. :-D

    Thanks for showing,

    -BoomBoxDeluxe.

  • Impressive :D. I'll have to try this with my foundry blow torch and CRT implosion band cut off :D

should not take long with a 1.5" torch :D

  • @Aussie50 Oh that does sound fun. Use a cutting torch with a big rosebud on it. I wonder what would fail more dramatically a bigger tube or a smaller one. I bet the little one would pop harder.

  • wow
