My favorite thing about this series is that the controls are usually really intuitive. I played this in an emulator after playing the DS version, and pretty much all the controls were self-explanatory. Every action in the game is "tap A" unless a B Button icon or Control Pad icon appears, in which case you do what the icon indicates.
1:13 Space Bunnies from Wario Ware? This is the second time in a row something from this game reminds me of something from Wario Ware! Also, I really gotta find this game somewhere...
Has anyone noticed that on the piggy tap dance part, if u look out of 1 of the windows u can see the monkey-so was it kicked out or something? Anyway great work on gettin excellent!
Anyway, Tengoku is just Japanese for "heaven". In which the English Version of Tengoku Gold will be released quarter 2 of this year named Rhythem Heaven.
I just heard about the ad for rhythm tengoku gold and wanted to find out about the original. These videos led me to getting this game. IT'S AWESOME!!!
Actually... The first time the tap-dancing lady and monkies appeared, I think level three, in the background, behind a wall or something, was Wario's motorcycle, and in the festival one, Kat's in the treehouse-type thing.
There are no problems emulating it, but I bought it anyway in hopes that NoA might localize it here. The games are pretty self-explanitory. Most of the games only need to use A and the more complicated ones have a little tutorial in the beginning that you can use trail and error to mess with it before actually getting to the real game.
There are several previews that give instructions on the game. Any sort of pirating will of course give a disapointing and illegal game playexpierence. The game depends on hearing the beat and any sort of pirated copy/ROM will not be accurate in portraying the beat.
He asked how I knew what to press, not when to press. I, personally, used trial and error, since I can't read the on-screen instructions because I don't know Japanese. :)

I hate it when NoJ automatically assumes other regions won't enjoy a game.

Just be glad The Bon Odori isn't anywhere in 0:43-1:26. It would totally throw the minigame off.

Rhythm Tengoku Gold is the game that's like Rhythm Paradise. Rhythm Tengoku Gold is the DS version, this is just the GBA version.

is this for the DS or For GBA?
Because the ds just came out but the gba is just called Rhythm Tengoku, the ds, Rhythm Heaven Tengoku...
so, is this the demo release japanise only?
kwlioboy 3 years ago
The original Rhythm Tengoku was for the GBA.
Rhythm Tengoku Gold is for the DS.
Both are Japanese releases
Anyway, Tengoku is just Japanese for "heaven". In which the English Version of Tengoku Gold will be released quarter 2 of this year named Rhythem Heaven.
Hope that helps

in other words, the japanese prequel to "Rhythm Heaven" wasn't released in America. we just got the DS version and called it the 1st one.

But I suggest deleting the menu part at the beginning

....how is this related to ddr....(for the person who thought it was)
anyway, the beginning part is catchy, when they do that pause on the beat.

omg those are the bunnies from wario ware! heh. I gotta get this.
madcartoonist09 5 years ago
what is this, some kinda old-school DDR? looks kinda weird...
you're pretty good though, the music isnt that bad, either..
ZeroJinKui 5 years ago
It's a GBA game that came out a few months ago. I'd say it's closer to a mix of Parappa the Rapper and Wario Ware than DDR.

There are several previews that give instructions on the game. Any sort of pirating will of course give a disapointing and illegal game playexpierence. The game depends on hearing the beat and any sort of pirated copy/ROM will not be accurate in portraying the beat.
Also there is gamefaqs.

one question.... how do you know what to press ?_?
hammabro 5 years ago
Trial and error, pretty much.
maketakunai 5 years ago
Not really, You need to hear the music beat while you get instructed on the screen.
Iriasu 5 years ago
He asked how I knew what to press, not when to press. I, personally, used trial and error, since I can't read the on-screen instructions because I don't know Japanese. :)

@maketakunai It's mostly pretty self-explanatory, isn't it?
