This was my first car, which I bought for $450 in 1982! It was magnificent, but those woeful vacuum-powered wipers were vile when it rained. And of course there's nothing quite like tearing up the Sydney - Wollongong expressway in a two-speed automatic.
These falcons were great cars .. but so were the holdens of the day too. My first-ever set of wheels was a fantastic hand-me-down turquoise blue EK Holden, from my dear old dad .. for doing so well in the 1972 HSC & matriculating. These days .. kids in their final year of high school, in many cases, get brand new Kia Rios, Toyota Echos & Yaris', Hyundai Getz' etc, et al .. even before they gradaute & have proven their worth.

My first car... blue with a white roof.
now have a 1963 ej holden.
both classic cars...don't have the falcon any more.
