I think there are different levels of intelligence. People can be really talented in some areas such as art, but maybe not so smart in other areas such as mathematics. Everyone has their own talents in this world.

I think it all depends on your intentions when remaining silent. The people whom keep quiet simply because they are aware of the assumptions of others and the workload that comes along with it....very smart.
