Harper is propping up the big food industry, and failed to sell our hormone rich beef to the japanese, if we can't get exports we are hopeless and some fo the best exports are in advanced technology. Which the conservatives are compeletely against in practise, but for in rhetoric. For example they wont prop up green technology even tho in the near future it will be cheaper then coal or oil.

but, a heavily left biased country like Canada will only support a fed tory govt when the shit is in our face. Look at the debt. Canada may have solid footing in the short term...but long term economics is worse than the states. And we have bazillions of raw materials.

The Liberals (both Federal and Provincial) can't even get their own party straight let alone lead a country. Just look at Toronto who overwhelmingly voted for a right-wing mayor in Rob Ford. The event where vandalism, arson, looting and assault on the riot guards was widespread? Only a few hundred were detained, and it was only for 48 hours. Meanwhile they were served an unlimited supply of sandwiches and refreshments, and even had cucumber sandwiches for the vegans.
