i love how it just makes the talented john mayer's voice just sound electronicy and it makes the black guys sound like all the other trashy artists that todays youth listens to.
Autotune is shit. If you can't sing, don't sing. If you can't get through one take, or even multiple takes, and cut with with a good track, then what are you doing at the mic? I don't even like John Mayer, but at least his "shoot from the hip" rendition sounds better than this sterilized, artificial, and manufactured POS. At least he can actually sing without the aid of electronics, and hve it be in tune.
@synestheticmonotony Adam Levine can sing unbelievably well, and yet he still uses autotune. Listen to the album version of "She Will Be Loved" and you'll see how autotune can actually be a great tool in the right hands
I like how on certain points you can't tell the auto tune alters his notes since he's actually singing very much in tune and the auto tune doesn't flip any notes for adjustments. Oh, and auto tune is a lame invention.
