I'm not sure what you're asking... In order to use this program, you need a Logitech G15 or G11 keyboard. Try reading the Readme file included with the program.
What I mean is end the program with a choice of the weapon (new pull down menu) that you want to enter the game with. Not all of us want to enter the game with a shotgun or sniper rifle.
What would be cool too is if you added a "Weapon Pulldown Menu" to select from after the loadout is complete. Currently it will always stop at the Support Weapon.
Not quite sure what you mean. Are you talking about a macro that will select only a weapon or two from the loadout screen, after the initial setup while you're actually in-game? If so, you can just create another macro with only the kit you want to modify selected (i.e. the "Enable" boxes).
What a great macro! I did find one bug though. I like to run light body armor. When I start my game IF it happens to show light body armor to begin with, the tool will actually set it to heavy even though I selected light. The fix is to run the macro one more time and it will change it back to light body armor.
Yeah, that's expected. Unfortunately there's no way to get Logitech's macro script to read any game setting values, so when my program generates the macro it just assumes the game will start with heavy armor selected. Other than running the macro again, or manually setting the right value, there's no way around this.
In 2142, setting up your loadout for all of your kits is a frequent occurrence. I got tired of manually selecting everything since it took time. I figured I might as well make a macro so my fancy new G15 keyboard could do it all for me and save some time. Also, don't underestimate how lazy I am... ;)
I posted my macro as a video response. I made that a long time ago. It was all manual though. You inspired me to write my own setup program like yours.
This macro is really for the software that comes with the G15/G11 keyboards. It's the Logitech software that handles the macro, not 2142 itself. It just runs in 2142.
Well How did you set up the macro, I have this sorry POS keyboard too, and it's only frusterating cause I dont know what to do. It's a little retarded that you cant use the extra G buttons. You can only take normal keyboard buttons and make the G buttons that function. So it's not extra buttons I feel ripped off.
The G15/G11 keyboards come with software that has its own macro commands. What this program does is create a macro script using the keyboard's software "language" based on the items you select. It moves the mouse to the weapon/item you want on the right hand side of the screen, clicks, moves it to the kit selection on the left, and releases. Repeat for every item.

RobotBanana, you rock man. Your program is sweet! Ignor Chrismyass. Immaturity doesn't count in gaming; they just die a horrible death with an APM.

lol why bother when u can simply make a few files read only and the game actually remembers your kit lol

I don't get the point that.. well.. why do you want a macro that will set up your gear for you? what difference does it make?

my items dont light up
masey78 4 years ago 2
What do you mean they don't light up? Do you see the mouse moving, but the kit doesn't get light up or what? Also, what resolution are you running?
