Wczoraj wieczorej zacząłem, dzisiaj wieczorem skończyłem (na przełomie lat :D) czytać książę. Nigdy bym się nie spodziewał, że książka napisana na początku ubiegłego stulecie może tak dobrze oddać klimat eksploracji księżyca. Wielki szacunek do autora za wyobraźnie.

I - co bardzo mi się podobało - mimo, że ksiażka została napisana gdy "kosmicznych" technologii w ogóle nie było, nie ma w niej takiej naiwności, infantylności typowej dla książek pisanych po pierwszych lotach w kosmos.

Anyone interested can rent it from Netflix... I've been waiting to see it for years. It is one of the most bizarre Science /fiction films ever, but be warned that it is slow, low budget (but has interesting costume and production design) and hard t follow, primarily because the film was taken away from the Director by the then communist run govt. Based on a trilogy of novels I believe...

Very high budget, but all the film was two days before the production was finished, ordered destroyed, and the film were watching today, is an edited version of the film-rolls, rescued by a brave film crew.

In moment we see true genius, like in 2001 or solaris in other moment we see poor material

Type "On The Silver Globe" at most online retailers in the U.S and you can find the Facets/Polart DVD.

The transfer is decent but judging by the materials used to promote the Polish Zulawski box set it appears the only elements available are of this quality.
