  • Im going to get together with a troop of mammals & other similar animals and we're going to make a movie in deepest rainforest...and use real homo sapiens in the death scenes..and i want music like this over it. Humanity should have a soundtrack. This is on it.

  • I can't wait to try and use this at a party to unnerve everyone. Such an excellent film.

  • fuck the PEW PEW

  • No i ta druga piosenka jest również bardzo przygnębiająca i mroczna..

  • Second song is better.

  • in soviet russia animal eat you

  • The second track sounds right out of a Snuff film.

  • 3:00

    Beooooong !

  • yeahnyeah yeah...when you eat animals then its fine but when some tribals kill and eat them its wrong!!!....complete hegemony of the white people...thats what the white people are good at...destroying other cultures and civilizations!!!!

  • @86burzum >assuming only white people have that mentallity

  • I find it very ironic that one of the most notorious horror movies of all time has a theme song that resembles the theme song that would come from some soppy love story type of movie!

  • Am i the only person who cant watch this movie without masturbating several times?

  • @BigB4runner I wacked one or two off when | watched this movie.

  • Same here. The turtle scene almost made me puke.

This is the most wicked movie I´ve seen so far *eye twitch*

It´s a good movie but it made me feel ill after watching it.. And it was scary real.. And movies rarely desturbs me like this one did.. x_x

(I like the music in it xD)

  • @SakkuHime It's that not that bad lmao. But yeah, it is a really good score.

  • Comment removed

  • I watch the animal scenes with no problem but skip the rape scenes.

  • Should have made a snuff film featuring people who hurt animals.

Kill the people, not the animals. Sick fucks. I like the music, though.

  • @wandererlain

Are you an animal rights activist or vegetarian? i'm neither but do you think killing animals for entertainment is just plain wrong?

  • @Johnlindsey289 Neither. I just think a bunch of moralless actors who carve up a defencelss turtle for absolutely no reason at all and for a movie is plain sick. It's a different story if you kill a chicken for food, for example.

There was no reason to do what they did in this movie.

    They're worse than neanderthals.

  • @wandererlain

The DVD has an animal cruelty free version and the only way to watch this movie but still the film is still hard to watch and so go for the jugular

  • @wandererlain that was fucked up :( at LEAST the locals ate the animals after they finished filming their deaths, but they could have used fake animals or none at all, then the animals wouldnt have even had to be in that situation in the first place :/

  • @AirMan928 if it had been fake animals, then this movie wouldn't be as popular as it is now is it?

  • @rogan2134 Quite so. I probably wouldnt have bought the dvd if it wasnt for the controversy. xD

  • @wandererlain The animal cruelty free version is a far better movie anyway. I'm usually against censorship in films but this is one instance where i feel that censorship is necessary because those atrocious and truly nauseating animal killing scenes were totally uncalled for and didn't really help the movie in any way.

  • @TheAltair4 I'll have to see that version sometime.

  • @TheAltair4

Did the turtle scene made you puke including the monkey?

  • @Johnlindsey289 I nearly puked during the turtle scene and it put me off eating anything for awhile.

  • The first song is pure genius! It has such a lively melody yet it has a touch of sadness and despair. A song that you would reminisce to, and played in the movie it couldnt have been anymore perfect

  • You know shit's about to go down when you hear: "pew... pew pew pew"

  • @xxZeroZonexx hahahahah very true my friend, that is the music of imminent horror in this movie...

  • @xxZeroZonexx That made me laugh so much.

  • pew

  • great track which is in great contrast to the movie itself..

  • Awesome movie!! A must see for any wannabe movie buff. How funny the artwork on the cd cover mirrors the fake reality of that depiction in the film. There is no impaled girl in the movie, just a girl on a bicycle seat that's mounted on a pole, with another small pole coming out of her mouth. And that's exactly what you see on the cd cover, no those aren't her lovely lady lumps that's a bicycle seat. The more you know!! ;) Knowledge is power! Thumbs up if you knew that already thumbs down if not

  • @Wiggins322 Obviously because someone told me to look into it, then I researched the thing and ended up coming here 'cause they also mentioned the soundtrack. This is a very good soundtrack for progressive illiterates. It's not bad, but people were doing a lot in this direction at the time, just a lot better.

And you're retarded. I think the ones watching gay porn are the ones fixated on it, huh?

  • I agree sarahbrightmanfan299, this soundtrack is stunning and it's wistful main theme floors me even though I'll never watch the movie from what i've heard. it's a 'no thanks' on that front XP

  • This soundtrack is nothing short from amazing....

  • Morale Of The Story: Stop Eating Meat!

  • @pukiayamkau No not really

  • I would really love a remake of this movie without the controversial aspects (animals being killed and real footage; maybe a little graphically lightened) as I think its a brilliant screenplay and was otherwise well done....

  • ow 2nd song was on all epic parts of movie :D

  • Track 2 fucked me up.

  • i dont know why, i find the second track to be extremely disturbing, its the scariest piece of music i heard as it evokes an unbearable sense of dread, genius! and to the people bitching about the animal scenes, its ok to watch humans die tho rite? how about the food you eat? animals are slaughtered every day. yes it is unsettling to watch the animal scenes, but who gives a shit about the humans, right?

  • @1SWINZ1 People don't mind the humans dieing because they can easily defend them selves, but the turtle, pig, monkey, snake, and koadi can barely defend themselves, not to mention people aren't actually killed in the movie but the animals actually were and we don't see the animals we eat actually getting killed unless you work at a slaughter house. i'm not a vegetarian or animal rights actavist i eat meat but it's hard to watch knowing the animals suffering especially when the koadi is shrieking

  • this whole soundtracks a hip hop gold mine

  • ¿Where can I download this music?

  • I'm not a fan of track 1, but i LOVE track 2

  • @iiAFX are you fan of the movie tho? dos it shock you? realie they practice cannibalism in other country's, they dont have a grocery store to go to. they eat what they can find.

  • @aclockworkorange92

I love this film, it was a little shocking when I first saw it, and the animal killings did bother me a bit, but I didn't let that effect my overall viewing of the movie. It's very well made, realistic wise, with a great soundtrack to hold it all together. I know a lot of people like Track 1, and thats fine, but it doesn't come close to track 2, in my opinion of course.

  • @iiAFX i love this movie to. after i researched about it. yes the killings&animal killings were very much real. the camera men turned the tribes against each other and they all eventualy got what they deserved. it makes me sick every time the turtle part comes up tho. i usualy turn my head away.

  • this song is really ironic to the movie...

  • NOW i just want to know Who is the real composer ? Michael Holm or Riz Ortolani ? because the same main theme i heard in the movie "MARK OF THE DEVIL"

  • Please open your minds 'cause this music is not good. I don't want to troll, but if you're after this progressive vibe listen to old Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Yes with Bill Brufford, Genesis with Peter Gabriel, Mahavishnu Orchestra etc. This is well orchestrated, but that's about it. Even the synthesizer work is bad, tasteless (PEEEW, PEW PEW). The soundtracks of all the Romero's movies are what was aimed for, without success. Also, screw'em for animal sacrifice, I won't waste my time with it.

  • @fescolfaro you won't waste your time experiencing it but your willing to come b!tch about it why don't you go back to watching gay porn

  • I watched this movie when I was 13, I think it changed me somehow.

  • PAO!

  • Wimps

  • I downloaded the movie and skipped through to see if I could handle it, but I got to the animal scenes and I couldn't handle it at all, so I figured the whole movie wasn't worth it, but maybe I'll give it another try and just skip those parts.

  • @answersInNemesis I am the same i skip over those scenes

  • @SarahBrightmanFan299 I heard about the turtle... but do they literally cut off a living monkey's face?

  • @JohnRobertPosey They don't cut its face off, they scalp it.

  • @JohnRobertPosey they do that and mutilate it, the movie is shocking and is very much real. the theme is so soothing i dont know why they used it for this documentary. you should watch it. beware it may change your perspective on different country's though.

  • @SarahBrightmanFan299 are you fags vegetarians or what??

  • @answersInNemesis where do you download the full movie with these parts ??

  • @answersInNemesis The animal scenes cannot be forgiven by the scumbags who made this movie.

But I like the music, that's it.

  • @answersInNemesis I was able to watch the whole film but you know the scenes with the animals were real right? They actually decapitated a live Monkey and Turtle and killed all those other animals! Thats just really sad!

  • @BubbaUnit yeah.

  • @BubbaUnit i wonder if they ever went, "oh fuck, we cut if off wrong, let's redo the scene"

  • @rogan2134 Actually they had to redo the monkey killing twice because they cut the monkeys head the wrong way the first time :S

  • bad movie fantastic soundtrack

  • the best horror movies i've watched.

  • imagine that when the film has been presented for the first time the audience was so upset that the director has called a local gangster to escort him from the cinema to a secret location where he has been hidden waiting for the plane to go back to Italy. The movie has been officially recognised only 23 year after has been filmed and the director has been banned from film making for 3 years, being forced to show to a court in Italy that the native murdered in the film where still alive.

  • What time signature is the second song in?

  • "Cannibals eat people to unfitting music"

  • I think its great how contrasting the soundtrack is, much like the film itself :)

  • Basically this movie is like a satire of the whole "heart of darkness" genre of fiction. Basically the whole first act builds up the natives as irredemable savages. Then when they find the film crew's missing tapes it's discovered that while yes, the natives did butcher and eat the film crew it's only because they tortured raped murdered and distroyed the homes of the natives so they could film it blame it on another tribe and depict the natives as being monsters. "who are the real savages?"

  • @wikiporno2 Well, the answer is, we are ALL as bad as each other. Equally Evil! Or are we, the Western World, worse because we film it? The filmmakers seem to love reminding us of this cynism. Bad enough that that poor turtle was ripped apart for this film. That is something I wish I'd never seen because it really upset me. I don't mind seeing humans being killed, mind. The cunts probably deserve it LOL

  • if you have seen this movie like i have you will get nearly teary eyed to these songs..............well great music but it just makes you feel depressed like you feel so bad for the natives in the movie and how the horrible plot about the filmmakers ruined others lifes and their own

  • guys remember except for the animals being killed the movies not real

  • GORE!

  • This thing is Sick

  • the second song in thie video (starting around 3:12) might just be the darkest and most disturbing mixture of music and sounf effects my ears have ever had the joy of listening to. (yes, i said JOY)....because it is mysteriously beautiful...amazing...and sparks a variety of emotions. This being said....I think the fact that I've seen the movie first adds to the effect...but nevertheless...truly a materpeice in the oddest possible way.

  • I hate the movie for so many reasons, but I love the soundtrack

  • @axelentertainmentAX why do you hate the movie?

  • godlike

  • 3:12-4:50 reminds me of a stupid video game I used to play when I was a kid. Despite the violence and gore I couldn't take this movie seriously when the "bombing" sounds played. Those scenes were hilarious rather than shocking.

    I love the movie nevertheless.

  • @SpareTimeLists What video game was is that you were thinking of? I may have played it before.

  • "Hey, watch it I am filming."

  • A beautiful soundtrack for such a powerful film. I tip my hat to Riz Ortolani.

  • beautiful soundtrack , horrible and shocking movie

  • It's so contrasting to how the first song is so beautiful. Well the second is too but.. even if she was guilty of adultery that punishment is so fricken cruel and the way it is done. So sleazily and he takes joy out of it. The second song just, to me, portrays something so horrible it's unbearable and you just want to end it.

  • a fitting soundtrack for a groundbreaking accomplishment in Italian filmmaking

  • The last 10 mins of the movie is already getting interesting and shocking, but the rest of the movie is just boring(expect the animals)

  • I've never seen this film, but judging by the main musical score(it has that old school Americana midwestern feel to it), it definitely sounds like something worth seeing!

  • @Gxyz222 you are very wrong its the oppiste

  • @RafSkeez how so?

  • does anyone listen to this soundtrack and instantly get shivers and playbacks of the movie in your head? fuck me i get it all the time, intense movie

  • I love this song.. It's so evil and scary to me.. :)

  • Beautiful music + horrifying film = totally awesome!!

  • 3 min in some night mare inspired slaughterfest shit

  • Adulteress' Punishment is a crazy track, seriously

  • I think who this beautiful dreming piece of music, make most bizarre this damned film.

Maybe THE CHOIR-STRING VOICES was playing in a MELLOTRON..

    Ortolani great.

  • The film is fucking nuts it looked so real, i'm not sure if the tribes were real, but the film is messed up but in a good messed up way.

Btw does anyone agree that the opening to the second track sound like the main theme song to Manhunt which is a 2003 gore fest video game and i think this film is the inspiration to it. Good movie.

  • The movie is shocking and disturbing, but overall it's good and sad.

  • people DO NOT THINK OF THIS MOVIE AS A GORE FILM IT IS VERY VIOLENT BUT VERY GOOD AND WORTH WATCHING

  • @kapillie If you think this is a good movie, then you there is something wrong with you.

  • @oldVideoGamesChannel if you can get past the gore you can reaally see what a well done movie this was, it was frightening and very intense even though ruggero really did way to much violence

  • @oldVideoGamesChannel If you don't think this is a good movie there is certainly something wrong with you. It's not for everyone but it's one of the most important films made about mankind's nature and it's flaws.

  • @EverettDudgeon138 iv'e git to admit i completely agree

  • The Ten Greatest Film Scores 10. Cannibal Holocaust (Riz Ortolani) 9. Aliens (James Horner) 8. Taxi Driver (Bernard Herrmann) 7. Cape Fear (Herrmann) 6. Blade Runner (Vangelis) 5. The Untouchables (Ennio Morricone) 4. Psycho (Herrmann) 3. Conan The Barbarian (Basil Poledouris) 2. Halloween (John Carpenter) 1. Once Upon A Time In America (Morricone)
  • @thebrb30000 I hear you pal. We definitely agree on the old film scores. Let's chuch carpenter's assault in ther too.

  • Great, maestro Riz Ortolani!!!

  • hilarious stuff great movie, all the raping so fapable but anyway great music with the pews

  • @Anon83270

    Lol you're a fucking sicko.

  • just watched the movie yesterday and the thing I remembered most was the music haha during the credits I was humming the melody of the music. the movie was good too, but I love the music much more

  • That second theme is so fucking awesome.

  • This movie was brilliant

  • sick movie.. I watched it once.

but the music is very good :D

  • The second track is terrifying..

  • What beautiful music scores!!!

  • This movie was wrong on so many levels, but the soundtrack is pretty good.

  • The music is great. But listening to it brings unsettling thoughts from the movie

  • @LeeRLang The second track is so good, but its horrifying, as it was always played during the most disturbing scenes.

  • Very disturbing movie, but the soundtrack is amazing.

  • pew....pew pew pew

  • i ask myself constantly now was it that bad? im afraid the answer is yes but there is only on way to find out hope its not

  • lol i tried getting sum friends to watch this 20 minutes in they wouldn't stop complaining about how cheesy it was so i turned it off watched it all the way through with another friend i kept thinking yeah thats bad but not horrible then the last 10 minute stretch comes seperating man from child ppl in movie were like the same and the guy says u havent seen anything yet im like whatever then they play the most gruesome ten minutes of my life a year and 1 week later im tempted 2 watch again

  • ah i'm sick with jealousy that you have this score. this movie has a great soundtrack, though i hear the movie itself is a bit bloody.

  • A bit bloody? HAHAHAHA that's fucking hilarious

  • i must agree, italiens made the sickest horrorfilms i've ever seen,

for example 120 days of sodom or salo is definetley the sickest horrorfilm in the world.. in germany it's illegal.

  • Nah, Japan does, overall. But no Japanese horror film would match the fucking sickness of Cannibal Holocaust.

  • fuck august underground its stupid this is as good as it gets. italians do everything the best . appreciate it for what it is. a form of art

  • Italians do it best? You obviously haven't seen the 2001 cartoon on the Titanic.

  • this had a good film

  • This is not the nastiest film ever made (IMO)

August Underground's Mordum is way worse, headless baby and necrofilia lots of nasty stuff.

but AUM is horrible because it has no plot.

  • I havent seen that all i know is the shit done in this movie is real.

  • most gorry film fukin ever omg man holy shit is it impacting its scary how we alll life

  • where can I see this video at? or is it just impossible...

  • Maybe the movie is shocking (I dont know it) but the soundtrack is so beautiful!

  • @dearmalika your right!!!!!

  • @dearmalika

it certainly is. But only worth watching uncut. US unrated disc don't waste your time with the UK release.

  • @dearmalika the film is more deranged and harrowing than anything else

  • @dearmalika

I guess the contrast between the beautifull soundtrack and the shocking images adds to the horror you feel when seeing it...

  • @dearmalika the movie IS shocking, but the most beautiful thing is WHEN this music is used: SUBLIME.

  • one of the most amazing movies ive ever seen

  • Fantastic Film and Wonderful Soundtrack ....

  • I love this music wow the movie would be way worst with out this soundtrack...

and in my opinion films like hostel are more disgusting and gorier...

  • I'm pretty sure this buggered up Brazil's Amazon tourist appeal

  • the 2nd song really fked me up after hearig tat song i could not go 2 sleep4 a week

  • One of the most powerful, sad, haunting, beautiful and unsettling film scores of all time.

  • @TheAltair4

I agree and just as raw as the film itself right? afterall this movie is the ultimate gorehound fantasy and did you know the animals were actually killed in this movie? well that's nothing new as other stuff like Man from Deep River, Jungle Holocaust (Last Cannibal World), and Mountain of the Cannibal God featured live animal slaughter. The film does predate stuff like REC, Blair Witch, Paranormal Activity and more handy-cam horror flicks.

  • @Johnlindsey289 That's true and Cannibal Ferox had real animal slaughter in it as well, which i felt the films all could have done without myself. But i think what really makes Holocaust stand apart from the others the most is the juxstapostioning of the eerie, yet beautiful music with truly horrifying imagery, which really gets to you and makes you feel incredibly uncomfortable and completely on edge throughout the entire film.

  • @TheAltair4

I rented this movie back in 2001 after hearing it was the Blair Witch Project's inspiration and thought it was the most shocking movie i've ever witnessed and had a hard time watching it. I bought it on DVD in 2005 and good thing it has 2 versions, the animal killing scenes were realistic but shocked me that i found out the animals were actually killed especially that turtle and monkey. I'm not an animal rights person or vegetarian. What was with that monkey brain scene?

  • @Johnlindsey289 I rented it on video as a teen alreading knowing that the animal killings were real but i really didn't know what i was truly in for when i watched it. It disgusted me so much that i could hardly eat anything for about a week after seeing it. I much prefer the animal cruelty free version on the DVD. Supposedly they killed two monkeys for that scene because the first take got screwed up. Sad.

  • anybody know where i can get this soundtrack ....like download . HelP

  • video2mp3dotnet

  • its a great film. in my opinion its not extreme at all. the soundtrack is fantastic, my favourite film score

  • when i first watched this and heard the opening i was like wow this is some good music, how bad can this movie be.. then i watched it was like shit that was brutal haha a very misleading opening song, but fitting.

  • it's a matter of taste

  • I woder if cannibal tribes still excists somewhere in the world.

  • @yusurre yea they do

  • Scary Men!!!!!!!Canibal Is Just Horrible!!!

  • the song from 3.03 is what i symbolise as the main theme. when that was played with the killings it fitted perfectly. the scenes with the turtle and rape of that woman with that dildo for adultery were the only bits i had to turn away

  • believe it or not this movie made me feel better because after seeing it I said, "well if this can happen, anything can happen!"

You think you've seen everything, then you see CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST!!!
