well 456s are going to be cascaded down from southern to swt and there are talks of 456s replacing most 455s on their duties on the lines the 455s serve

I've heard on the grape vine that 456s were to be converted to run with two 8 car 455s to make ten cars. But I think that they've cancelled any work now to make platforms up to ten cars in length where needed. So...who knows..??

Not sure what they are up to with this, but maybe they might run them as 10 cars in the future, as there was talks of making some platforms 10 cars in length, but you never know what could happen.
