Just saying, if you had it up higher, you wouldn't have mashed your elbow. Jack stands bro... It's the only way. Be safe. thanks for the video.

@Fitz093 I'll use stands from now on, I actually wish I had a set of ramps.

Never get under a car that is supported only by a jack. For safety you must use *jack stands*.

@zed91 I always use stands when I jack it up higher and am up under the car further. if the jack failed in this instance I would be okay because I was not really up under the car the jack was used so I could get the oil pan under the car
