Ehm, Charla Nash was attacted by a chimpansee held as a pet (A wild animal twice as strong as most human beings and known to eat other monkies).
Every year people are attacked by animals, wether it are sharks bulls or wasps. For you these attacks justify the killing of thousands of animals for their skin only to become a fashion item?

As a ex fashion designer I'm glad to see a testimonial to other designers to not use fur but please add leather too. I couldn't stand the unethical side of the fashion world and have not returned too it but glad to see Sadie Frost and Stella McCartney who stand up and produce awesome, cutting edge clothing. Their is nothing more horrific to see a dead piece of fur on humans. And Bravo to Brian Adams for his Veganism. Also support hair, and cosmetics that are vegan and you'll be fab!

yes totally, leather and also wool & silk need to go. we dont need to (ab)use living beings to enjoy fashion. luckily, vegan clothes & cosmetics are relatively easy to find these days.
