That was beautiful. I grew up with Family Ties and Back to the Future 1, 2 and 3. I have also just finished reading Michael's books, Lucky Man & Always Looking Up. After reading his books, I learnt what a wonderful life Michael & Tracy have with their 4 children, & the work they are doing for PD. Keep up the good work & I wish you both the best.

I remember these episode soooo well. Michael and Tracy together were phenomenal. When they played At This Moment, I became an instant fan of that song and a believer in love as a whole. The fact that the two have been together for so long is evidence of why these episodes touched so many people. You could see the love when they looked at each other. These two episodes left me with a wicked crush on Tracy Pollan. I still have them on a VHS tape in the entertainment center. I don't ever remember seeing a better chemistry between two actors playing parts. I remember reading buying any magazine that had something about Tracy in it. They were America's sweethearts that fall and "At This Moment" even skyrocketed up the charts because of that show.

These two episodes were played tonight on The Hub (294 on DirecTV) and I had to record them in my DVR. But, even if I missed them, I know I still have them on tape from when they ran originally in the fall of 1985. I had such a wicked crush on Tracy Pollan from that season of Family Ties that I picked up every magazine I could find that had anything on her. Her portrayal of Ellen in those two episodes still has me mesmerized 25 years later. All the best to her and Michael.

But that night--that 1st time I saw Tracy Pollan, I was totally mezmerized--she was just so gorgeous & classy--my Wife noticed & laughed, saying that finally, I had the good sense to watch her favorite show. I saw an interview with Fox. When he was on Family Ties, Tracy was dating Kevin Bacon and Micheal was dating Nancy McKeon. After Tracy left the show a freind mentioned that Tracy and Bacon broke up. Micheal said the first thing he did was go to the phone and call her and ask her out.

This video really signifies that era to me, personally. I was a kid back then but there were alot of people falling in love. Sure I might have said some messed up things to couples but I was like what? 6 or 7? There was a real surge of american pride at the time and like right after, we made peace with the east and things descended into gangs and street violence with 60's ex-radical lawyers pointing fingers at the brat pack. That's what begat the internet revolution essentially and 90's peace.
