IW dosent think about the guns they release in there games. If i tested out each gun in mw3 BEFORE it came out i would instantly decrease the strikers fire rate and lower its range. And i mean what were they thinking with the type 95? they should have just use same stats that are on there... Bottom line is test ur games properly before releasing it IW.

I am an avid shotgun user, more particularly the Spas-12 but yeah Ive had plenty of people rage over it. But what I think everyone seems to forget is that if your more then ten feet away guess what mother fucker? Im screwed. It all goes back to knowing how to maneuver the map to give your weapon the best advantage. If you have an assault rifle dont go into close quarter buildings where it requires one pull of the trigger to kill you, stay on the outside where you can look down your sights.
@Thydeepestfear its hard to do that unless you play kinda campy, if you go to close quarters with an assault rifle, youll get killed by a submachine gun, a shotgun or a freaking knife (as i always get killed), and if you run through open spaces, youll probably get killed by someone camping, im starting to get good at call of duty, but its taking a lot of time due to this things i just mentioned, oh and i dont like to camp or use ''too easy to get kills with'' weapons
Believe me dude when I say that while shotguns are one shot kills I tend to do crappy and sometimes I do very well but for the most part I do very well on a consistent basis when I use a sub-machine gun or an assault rifle. As for getting better at Duty you just have to pick up on peoples habits, that alone will make you a better player. Overall shotguns are just for people who just want to have fun and dont give a shit about their KDR.

i think the fact that you could use the akimbo FMGs as primaries shows that theyre over powered. its just like the fact that hipfiring the type 95 is a better close range weapon than most of the shotguns. its using weapons in a way that they werent meant to be used. like quickscoping.
the hip spread on the mw3 akimbo weapons are way to tight. Black ops had the akimbo sub machine gun spread just right. Those that used steady aim benefited the most from the akimbo weapons on black ops and they were definately not OP but still usable.
I want to know why nerfing the machine pistols was just so fucking impossible, and how they can end up INCREASING RoF by 50%; yet they can remove the extended mags shotgun "glitch" (no glitch, it made them reliable) no problem. Why the hell couldn't we get a 50% percent pellet increase on all shotguns.
For one week, everybody would be using shotguns....at the very least when itd be over, they'd learn how fun it is to fucking move.

Pump action should have Farthest Range with Most damage with slowest fire rate.Semis Should have Lowest damage with Ok range.Autos should be Highest fire rate with Low damage and Ok range like the Semis
Secondary weapons aren't supposed to be as good as primaries, they are supposed to be a last resort ("Switching to your secondary because it's faster than reloading"). It's because secondary weapons are so powerful that the Overkill perk has no place in this game. Akimbo FMG-9's definitely need to be nerfed. Better yet, get rid of akimbo secondaries. Single pistols only, and possibly lower the fire rate on machine pistols for the casual gamers with no trigger finger.
FIST I DISAGREE... The pistols dont need a buff at all. they are really good. people just have this mind set that two machine pistols are so powerful why would you use something else. then they also argue that the pistols suck... well no they are fucking awesome people just cant use them because they are used to spraying with FMG9s
Oh yeah and another thing. having such powerful machine pistols makes the OVERKILL perk useless. there is no reason to have overkill if there are secondaries far better than most primary weapons.
i think a good way to nerf the akimbo pistols and machine pistols is to not let people use a primary weapon with them. you should be allowed to carry two weapons only not three. and people need to just try out the pistols. they are very useful, the pistols like a 44 magnum or a silent USP are great you just have to try a bit harder and think a bit smarter not just whip out 2 guns to spray and pray.
Fmg's are a problem. Especially when people are using them more than their primaries! All they had to do was take the akimbo attachment off of all machine pistols. And the deagle is awful!!!

at this point in the game i would say, once again, treyarch listen much better to what people were saying about the game. 1-2 months out, 74u was nerfed. famas was nerfed later on. they fixed second chance for the better. say what you want about black ops damage, but IW is doing everything ass backwards
Here's what I think. It's not people like you that piss others off in game with the FMG-9's, it's the people that use them as a primary weapon and spam them. And for the striker, the only time I get mad at that gun is if multiple people are using. That's when it's ridiculous. For the most part it's not the game, but the people that play it. The only gun I 100% disagree with is the type95. I would be very happy if they made is EXACTLY like the MW2 Famas.

Honestly I don't even know why there are secondary weapons. There should just be a collection of gun pistols, machine, pistols, shotguns, assault riffles, smgs, and sniper riffles. You should be able to use and them however you like (ie maybe make it so that you can carry multiple guns based on equipment load and mobility. You want two shot guns great you are slow. If you want two pistols great you are super fast. This is a classic shooter idea and it was never broke lets go back.
Pistols should be two hit kills, but at real close range. Then 3 hits, 5 hits. The desert eagle and revolvers should be 2 hits, 3 hits out of range. The desert eagle should have a one shot headshot capability within it's range too. This is how you could make pistols. Because honestly, pistols are pieces of shit

I don't think the Striker is overpowered. Even with extended mags and damage it behaves like a shotgun is supposed to. If I'm getting beaten by a Striker I just pull out an MP7 attached rapid fire and a silencer or extended mags and I'm good. The FMG9s are a little overpowered but again they don't annoy me half as much as someone camping with a Type 95 Blind Eye Assassin and Marksman. That combo for me produced instant rage. In my opinion secondaries should just be pistols or launchers.

i used the striker with a suppressor and no damage or range and i got a got a 1.00 kd ratio and my friend cant even get a 1.00 kd with damage and extended mags . you just have to knwo how ot use it and some people dont know how to use it or havent tried it. But you have to use it before you call it overpowered.

FMG9s being too strong messes up the balance for people like me who need to run stinger when we are running solo. If FMG9 beats every primary then I am stuck without much to do but get beat down by it or I have to run it and let the air support stay up. The Striker doesn't really need to be nerfed just the extended mag's exploit needs to be addressed, FMG9's do need something doing with them because it this simple if a secondary becomes better than any primary they need adjusting; FMG9's beat Striker extended mag's at close range or even medium range. They need adjusting though I don't think they should go overboard, nerf them but be moderate about it.

@NakedPhatGuy Yes laying in the back of the map does slow the game down, but quickscoping does not. If a sniper is running through the map killing everyone in his path, it's speeding up the game. When a sniper on CoD lays in the back of the map, it's when I say "Go play Battlefield for that."

I'm okay with FMG9 as long as you use it how its meant to be used as a secondary weapon. Use it when your out of ammo or there is no time to reload. Yesterday when I was playing there was this guy that only used the FMG9 every game, it annoyed me so much. But like F1sT said you shouldn't go around nerfing everything, every gun can be beaten by another. I use the PP90M1 with Rapid Fire to beat Strikers because its rate of fire is so high the enemy has almost no time to react.

camp lines of sight all you want. ill just flank you, grenade you,or outshoot you. i have never had a problem with campers, they are stupid, predictable, and easy to kill. overpowered shotguns are probably the absolute most annoying weapons to get killed by. you have no chance. too much range, and spammable too? dumb. as for machine pistols they dont belong in the game. secondaries should suck like black ops, the only reason you switch to your pistol is because its faster than reloading.

Secondary weapons aren't supposed to be as good as primaries, they are supposed to be a last resort ("Switching to your secondary because it's faster than reloading"). It's because secondary weapons are so powerful that the Overkill perk has no place in this game. Akimbo FMG-9's definitely need to be nerfed. Better yet, get rid of akimbo secondaries. Single pistols only, and possibly lower the fire rate on machine pistols for the casual gamers with no trigger finger.

i think a good way to nerf the akimbo pistols and machine pistols is to not let people use a primary weapon with them. you should be allowed to carry two weapons only not three. and people need to just try out the pistols. they are very useful, the pistols like a 44 magnum or a silent USP are great you just have to try a bit harder and think a bit smarter not just whip out 2 guns to spray and pray.

Here's what I think. It's not people like you that piss others off in game with the FMG-9's, it's the people that use them as a primary weapon and spam them. And for the striker, the only time I get mad at that gun is if multiple people are using. That's when it's ridiculous. For the most part it's not the game, but the people that play it. The only gun I 100% disagree with is the type95. I would be very happy if they made is EXACTLY like the MW2 Famas.

Honestly I don't even know why there are secondary weapons. There should just be a collection of gun pistols, machine, pistols, shotguns, assault riffles, smgs, and sniper riffles. You should be able to use and them however you like (ie maybe make it so that you can carry multiple guns based on equipment load and mobility. You want two shot guns great you are slow. If you want two pistols great you are super fast. This is a classic shooter idea and it was never broke lets go back.

I don't think the Striker is overpowered. Even with extended mags and damage it behaves like a shotgun is supposed to. If I'm getting beaten by a Striker I just pull out an MP7 attached rapid fire and a silencer or extended mags and I'm good. The FMG9s are a little overpowered but again they don't annoy me half as much as someone camping with a Type 95 Blind Eye Assassin and Marksman. That combo for me produced instant rage. In my opinion secondaries should just be pistols or launchers.

i used the striker with a suppressor and no damage or range and i got a got a 1.00 kd ratio and my friend cant even get a 1.00 kd with damage and extended mags . you just have to knwo how ot use it and some people dont know how to use it or havent tried it. You have people with under 1 KD straight dominating me with FMGs while using an MP5 for example. They are stronger than most primarys. I like them as a secondary when used as one but people ruin it by running around with them as primarys. The striker would be fine it the range wasnt so far as pump actions should have farther range to balance all the shotguns out.

The Striker doesn't really need to be nerfed just the extended mag's exploit needs to be addressed, FMG9's do need something doing with them because it this simple if a secondary becomes better than any primary they need adjusting; FMG9's beat Striker extended mag's at close range or even medium range. @cjalmighty I know it's a game but serious a little realism would be nice! Have you ever shot .50cal sniper rifle i have it is impossible to shot the thing standing not to mention running it weighs a ton not in cod you can pull those sights up half a second and be dead on acurate in a full out sprint it's BS.

I'm okay with FMG9 as long as you use it how its meant to be used as a secondary weapon. Use it when your out of ammo or there is no time to reload. Yesterday when I was playing there was this guy that only used the FMG9 every game, it annoyed me so much. But like F1sT said you shouldn't go around nerfing everything, every gun can be beaten by another. I use the PP90M1 with Rapid Fire to beat Strikers because its rate of fire is so high the enemy has almost no time to react.

@robin23894 well peolpe with always abuse things, it DOSENT mather how it is menat to be used, look at the noobtube in mw2 for example, u cant put things that are so powerful in the game and ecpect ppl not to abuse it, it isnt how MOST people work.

this is what happens when people who just bought the game and dont enjoy it right away cause they dont know how the game plays, complain and get their way, honestly in my opinion, before IW or anyone else, makes their decision on what they do, they should look at peoples gamertags and look at their stats on the game, see how long they have played, see if they really know how to play the game, and then make their decision on what to change.

the fmg9 was op, i hate being killed by it. I think its good that they nerfed it, makes the game little more playable for ME.
